I've contacted them in December and they said they will join as soon the product is out :).

To me it looks like some custom e-cigs i've seen combined with some VM3 and Skyda/Iolite.. I am talking just about the looks.. I hope they join soon to reaveal more info on airpath and heating element, i asked them but they never responded.. http://fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?pid=173495#p173495

Great Scott!
Wanna see a full tear down with a full material list. I think its fair to expect that of any electronic vape at this point. Only when I am truly confident in the materials used will I buy another portable. I happen to be in the market for one though, so I hope they step up and address my concerns.

not to familiar with all the names of vapes or how long they have been out . This unit looks nice , rather like this one I came across today, almost like this one was model from 3 years ago, mind u I have NO clue when this came out CLICK

back to the Karma, took a quick peak at their site and as I am accustomed to I looked for warranty info first Karma warranty and return info

looks like 1 march arrival
Expected delivery date is March 01, 2012.

is it just me or is the warranty not clear to others? main page big ol tag up top lifetime warranty, but what is says on the warranty page reads differently . says 90 days, and reads like a lawyers steno. I'm beginning to wonder if shit like this is becoming more common, the AR warranty page reads in a contradictory way as well.

all the same man, interesting find, bro thx for sharing it here ;)

but curse you too [JK] as I know have EVEN MORE reading to do, where are my eye drops :p

Thanks Charlie

I also forgot to mention, it will come in 3 colors: silver, black and red.

We're still tweaking a couple minor things with it based on feedback and testing with our prototype.

Hi everyone, I am new to this site and vaping. I have been looking for a discret Vape but am undecided on a model. I saw this add for the Karma Vape Divinci. I called the 800 number and customer service answered promptly. They were very pleasent and answered my questions. They said a March date was definitly a production distrubution date, and that they have proto types. Basicly the questions I asked are on the updated product description. It looks great, but is bronze heating better then ceramic, they said because its more durable they went with bronze and if you dropped the vape the ceramic would break. Also said it was the size of an I-phone but thicker..:peace:

Welcome to the forum, Davinci!

First of all, as a vaporizer manufacturer I wanted to give you a heads up that you need to contact vtac (forum owner) to let him know you are the manufacturer of this item (if you haven't already, that is). No big deal, really, but all manufacturers have a slightly different set of guidelines that should be made known to you.

Quoted from forum rules:

Manufacturers and Retailers

* Please contact vtac@vaporist.com before posting. This applies to anyone with a commercial interest and is mandatory. Failure to do so may result in a ban. Affiliate links and sites thereof are not welcome.
* Manufacturers are welcome to make an official thread for their product to answer questions and interact with customers, but should be prepared for a gauntlet of questions and comments.
* Retailers are welcome to participate in the discussions as a normal member. However, advertising is only permitted in this thread and will not be tolerated elsewhere.

Secondly, I would suggest starting a new thread with the proper name.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forums. One hell of an informative first post. I have to be the first to ask any relation to the company at all? What is making you consider this your first portable? Were you able to ask them for a list of materials used? The one thing I don't see references to are the safety of this vaporizer. That is my number 1 concern with all vapes from here on out, so until I am 100% sold on the safety of a vape, I remain cautious and uninterested. Convince me it is safe...and then I'll do my research on the rest.

Hey Dark,
I see your trials w/ your last portable have made you ultra-cautious. Not to fear,
I just got boned by the AR. Can't be too careful, I am also waiting to see the disclosure
before I invest in this vape. Looks good.....

Hi Mephisto,

As for safety. We've been doing some testing and there was a minor heating issue. The unit, as is on that flier, had a little extra heat coming out. We've revamped it by adding a mesh screen behind the exhaust holes and they are now honeycomb shaped rather than the slits.

There is still some minor heat near there, but not enough to cause serious burns. The unit cools down quickly. As you may be able to see, there are basically two "on" buttons. A main power button and a temperature set button (that toggles between c and c). We do this so the unit doesn't accidentally turn on in a pocket (similar to the butt dial effect of a smart phone).

Dark, if you wish, you can email me for more information regarding the problem you had with your other vaporizer and I can make sure we have covered our bases on any possible injury issues. Email me vaporizer@karmaclassic.com and I'd be more than happy to go over materials and if I don't have the answer, I'll get it for you.

@davinci vapes, by safety they are talking about the materials used in the air and vapor paths on the unit and overall materials safety.......for instance, does it have any lead based solder in the circuitry? what comprises the entire air path? does any plastic on the unit get hot enough to outgas?....stuff like that as opposed to getting burnt.

To the thread and Darkrom, no Im not connected to Karma Davinci Vapes, or anyother manufacture or conglomerate...I wish. I just been doing some research on personal vapes for the stealth application.... kids and teens in house and wife hates the smell of my dugout.. I saw that the Wispir has some issues with the butane, Arizire is to big to sneak a hit (for me).. The others look like huge cigars and other female toys. I think it is more of an impulse that I am considering preordering the unit because I like the size and looks, and and customer service answered my call, figured the company has been manufacturing the smokeless cigs and such for a while now so maybe they know what they are doing..... so maybe Ill roll the dice. Never thought about the saftey issues or asked for a materials sheet...:peace:

Cool. I hope you understand I'm just asking and wasn't accusing. I tried to word it as friendly as possible :)

If you end up going for it let us all know and be sure to post a video. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is `30 per second!

Hello field,
Welcome to the show. As a recent impulse buyer, of a less than perfect "vape", it is
worth the wait for reviews. There are a few other "stealthy" vapes due to hit the market
shortly. Definitely use the threads for past reviews as well. I currently own 6-8 good vapes,
and have passed along many others to those in need. All my research has been done by
absorbing all the other user experiences here at FC. Plus, we get the best discounts.....

I emailed our engineer for a materials sheet and will pass the info along as soon as I get it.

A few things I do know:
doesn't get hot enough to outgas
the unit has had 3 different iterations before this latest prototype, with an emphasis on using high quality materials.

no robot fart smell

The battery time is approximately 60-70 minutes, based upon how heavily/often it's used.

I'll be shooting a usage video this weekend, using hookah tobacco.
It will be an basic instructional video and I'll disclaim it's me using it and not a 3rd party review.
