Getting good thick hits can be a bit hit and miss with the basic wand and mouth piece set-up.
I get the best hits with my buddha by using a bong or a gravity bong!
To make the gravity bong : 2l bottle, and cork. drill a hole in the cork so the whip fits snug, and make the outside in a cone shape so it locks in the 2L bottle.
cut the bottom of the 2l, but keep a bit of the edge so the bottom stays rigid,
Then plug it when the bottle in fully down in the water pot, and lift the bottle slowly (lower temp than what you'd use usually, or it will burn!), and once it is fully lifted, unplug the cork, puff it all, and restart. I will get too high to keep going with 2-3 cycles if filling the wand right and tight enough!
It gives the buddha the same functionnality as any bag vape, with added risk of water spills or blowback into the heating element (adds a bit of fun and motor skills to the sessions, not ideal with more than 1-2 toker friends, and practice is needed as first to get the "lift" to the right speed, slower mean thicker smoke!). Would surely work with any other whip vape but the Buddha is unique in that matter, for its looks & durability (the only time I saw a broken one it was a power cable thing a a easy diy fix, had mine 8 years now no issues). Its my second vape and have not hit the trigger on a third one yet! first one was functionning for 30 minutes on its first day and it simply died. I went for a good quality unit and don't think I could fall on anything much better than it!
