What happened to it? I got mine replaced with 1 email. My old one is on the way back.

I guess it has a faulty bluetooth "chip" as it didn't connect to bluetooth at all. Customer service came trough after I got to talk with them and worked really fast on the return once it seemed that the unit is faulty. I must say that the customer service deserves good feedback after this and I feel pretty secure ordering from them again thanks to them wanting to work this out so well. The start may just have been due to the new units launch and all that.

I just hope that the new unit arrives a bit faster. Shame that we don't have an overnight shipping in eu.

well finally got mine. I have had two sessions. Wow. I will write a proper review in time but first bowl about .2 AK47 and I started at 180. very nice. Pumped up to max and got a lot of draws. So second session (pay attention @iwien ) I used only .05 with the liquid pad. It worked great. I tried to kill it in one huge draw at full temp. Actually gave 2 big hits and a smaller third. Flavor is wonderful.

That all for now . Back to testing :rockon::leaf:

It seems like everyone is getting huge clouds.
I only get one not very dense cloud, maybe two if I fill the whole chamber. After that there is basically no vapor at all no matter how high I turn the temperature.
I'm not sure what you guys are doing to get bigger clouds . I'm grinding it pretty fine and packed it tight and sometimes a little more loose.
It's effective even when there are no clouds.
I am also only getting 3-4 bowls per charge.

How is the quality of your herbs?
Really good for non medical standards. I have two strains and one seems to be a little drier, the other one a little more moist. But I don't get really dense cloud with either of them. The effect is there though.

What color is your ABV?

What's up everyone? Decided to buy a Crafty so wanted to share my first few days of experience. I was given an Ascent as a gift the day I bought the Crafty, so I'll compare the 2 if you're looking at buying either.

The Crafty is much lighter than I expected. Not in a cheap way at all, just lightweight, but sturdy. S&B did a really good job with it. Little features like a blinking charging light to tell you how much charge you have to go by the speed of the blinking light. For example, a slow blink if its 60% +, a rapid one if its below and steady light when its charged. It reminds me of the Plenty's little brother in a lot of ways. The Ascent feels a little heavier and just nice in your hand. No other way to put it. Very sleek and cell phone esque, screams quality. Holding the two you would think the Ascent is the more expensive vape on looks and feel alone. My Ascent had no off gas issues, seems very well built, glass straw is nice and snug. Ascent does take longer to charge but holds a charge for longer.

Vapor quality is fantastic in the Crafty. Really flavorful and satisfying. Heats up very quickly and rivals many lower to mid level desktop vapes I've tried. i was surprised at how cool the vapor was from the Crafty. Crazy to think about , but its that good. Ascent is very good vapor quality but a step below the Crafty IMO. It does have a nice clean taste with the glass airpath and also very satisfying. Didn't seem as cool as the Crafty but not a huge difference on temperature or smoothness. I picked up some cheap glass daisy screens and was getting great hits out of the Ascent with little material. I'm impressed with both, but the Crafty vapor is phenomenal and surprising.

The APP is well done and works great. I got it to sync 1st time and without trouble. A nice touch is that in the APPs options you can set the Crafty so that you can have your phone vibrate rather than the vape to tell you when its heated up and ready. This way you can conserve the Crafty battery and its not buzzing all the time . This is where the Ascent has its perks. You adjust everything right on the screen which is great if you dont want to control things with your phone. Both respond quick and heat up very fast.

Its only been a few days but I really like both vapes. Neither is going to uncrown my EVO or Plenty for home use, but on the go or when I want a quick session, both great choices. Similar in size, both very discreet. The vapor quality is a bit better with the S&B, but if that warrants an extra $150 - $ 200 dollars is up to you. I think where the Crafty lacks the Ascent excels (on board control and screen, glass path, price) and where the Ascent lacks the Crafty excels (vapor quality, fast charge up time, no need for glass screens on small amounts) I will say that I do like to use the liquid pads when vaping a small amount out of the Crafty and much like my Plenty it hits great with them in but a little better with them out.

I probably missed quite a few things so my apologies. Just excited and wanted to share my thoughts.
Happy vaping!

Have you achieved dense clouds on any other device using your two current batches?

My Vaponic has similar clouds but is much less effective.
Is it possible that I grinded it too fine? Or packed it too tight?
How about inhaling? Does it matter how fast or hard you inhale?

I use quite small amounts with liquid pad, but even then the "pacing" of inhaling matters for the cloud density. That might not be what you are asking, but the Crafty is so easy to use that it might need some fine tuning to produce smokier clouds for those who want them. I like them clear and almost invisible as they are still super effective and tasty like with the Volcano.

Based on your description, I'd guess it's your starting material too.

If anything, a fine grind (to a point) will offer slightly larger clouds due to the increased surface area.

Another thing to consider is that lighting can play a large factor in how dense your vapor appears.

I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too
Hello @h3rbalist - I notice that you had an Ascent. How does the Crafty compare with the Ascent?
Imo the ascent is a jack of all trades and master of none and should be avoided by serious herb users.

Used more material, produced less vapor and is a lot more expensive than other great portable vapes, like the solo.

Did not enjoy at all and was sold within a week.

Its not in the same league as a Crafty.

It can't hurt to vary the grind/pack to see if it produces different results. How hard/long are you inhaling?

I guess I will need to test more. Will test both strains, inhale and packing techniques tonight. For science :science: Thanks for the advice!

Any suggestions for temps? No matter what temps I start on I almost never get more than 2 hits. I usually start on about 175-180C (is that too low?) and then I don't get much after that, even if I bump it up to 195C.
I will also put my Vaponic into the freezer for a while so I can scrape out the stem reclaim and sandwich it in the Crafty.

Fresh off my first experience with the Crafty. I can finally say, I've found a suitable replacement for the solo, tho my love and use of the solo has not ended. The crafty is super efficient, almost too efficient. I enjoy sitting back and taking hit after hit while hanging with the wife, I feel like I was done before I ever really got started. Not a complaint, just pertains to my usage and a testament to how well it extracts. I filled the chamber completely, set temp to 380f, boosted temp too 395f,didn't get much more Vapor , me and wife finished in about 10min, didn't really keep time, it was way faster then the usual two cycles with the Solo. Great clouds, easy on the lungs/smooth, none of that nasty taste that happens with the Solo. Super easy to draw. I don't like the bit of Vapor leakage, but it's not so bad that it's a deal breaker. I packed a tiny amount in after the initial bowl, and it gave the expected amount of Vapor, yes it will extract, but in my opinion, this vape wants to be filled. Overall, this is a easy purchase, if the mighty preforms better.... Holy shit, is all I could say to that

Well, you just fixed that now, didn't you?

I don't get the mighty. Size really does matter. In this case, smaller being better. For me certainly.
My wretched 13 1/2 year old mongrel wobbles 6 miles/day, with me limping along in agony. That's three, two mile death marches for me evry fucking day. Yes I have Rx footwear but I need this fucking crafty in my life.

Different strokes for different folks dude. I think the Mighty looks great for an around the house or non-stealth heavy hitting portable and the Crafty offers more discretion and pocketability. I found that you can actually turn the LED lights on the Crafty completely off as well making it even more stealthy.

I read earlier somewhere compared either the Mighty or the Crafty to a mini-Plenty. I've only had it for a day but I think that comparison is very accurate. It really medicates well.

So, if you take the LED brightness bar to the "o" mark on the app, the LEDs actually turn off completely? And then vibration is all you are left with to notify you?
