Can someone please post a link to that great custom vapelog someone create for Mac users? I still only have an iPhone 4. I believe it was Sasquatch_Jr I just found the old page, but link expired! Thank you!

Made my muzzmod last night, all seemed to go well. I can't see any epoxy on the inside, guess I'll run some empty bowls to ensure nothing comes from epoxy. Thanks for the easy tutorial elmo!

I found a serious problem when I tried to use it with the water piece I already had though. It has a removable stem with diffuser and unfortunately it is too small to accept the reducer I got from OGB. I can remove that stem and it fits perfectly but then I lose out on more than half the filtration. Guess a visit to dhgate is in my future. :)

Yeah, guess I could always go that route too, but I was kinda leaning towards new piece altogether anyway. The current one is a 45 degree angle on the downstem, now that I have muzzmod, I'd like to go straight so I don't have to hold it.
Nothing wrong with treating yourself :D Might want to consider getting one of those adapters anyways, maybe from the seller if they offer them. "Dual use" even, makes 14mm females into 18mm females, and makes 18mm male joints into 14mm male joints. I've got a bunch of adapters kicking around with my glass, that way I can make lots of different setups and pieces work.

As an update: S&B replied back via e-mail refunding me the 30 dollars and shipping via USPS priority mail. Glad they were able to remedy the problem. Looking forward to seeing if the Mighty will be any more reliable than the Crafty (I haven't read through the Mighty thread yet).

So I picked up an adapter at a local shop so I could try out the mod tonight. Also saw an awesome bubbler that will be 50% off in September. Too bad it's $280 to begin with.

Question about cleaning this. I assume soaking it in ISO is no good due to epoxy?

Vaping vegetable glycerin with the crafty? Anyone tried it? Successful? If so how can I do it?
Hey mate! Tried that a couple of times with VG juice on cotton in the bowl and had acceptable vapor production but soon the CU was so wet from condensed vapor that I started eating the juice, not nice, too sweet! :p

So I connected my muzzmod to the Crafty with an empty bowl, cranked it to 210 and waited. Once at temp for 15-20 seconds, I tried a quick test to see if any vapor came from the jb kwik, seemed fine after a few test pulls. Left it for a minute, still good.

Let er cool down and loaded up slightly less than my usual amount. Back up to 210 with the bong ready to go! When I slid the crafty down the air pushed some vapor out the Crafty's intake so I knew I was dealing with a very nice connection. Only downside is with the adapter I needed to use, sometimes when I pulled the Crafty away to clear the chamber, the adapter came too. New piece with straight connection in my future will put that to bed.

Holy shit, I cached the bowl in 3 hits. 3 massive hits, but no more vapor really by hit 4, lol. Through just the CU, a regular session lasts me 4-5 draws at 180C, and 3-4 more at 195C. The difference between straight GonG and the CU through a SonG adapter is night and day (no offense Ratchet, loved my SonG while I needed it). :D

The muzzmod hype is real folks!

I installed it but never had a clue how the app works.
Has a "rec" like button, but after launching the app, the rec button as everything else seems non responsive.

Take that broken o-ring to a Hardware store and ask them to show you where the O-rings are and match the broken one. Buy the other suzedvreplacement O-rings while you are at it.
Go for it

UPDATE on the "muzzmod".

I find the "jb weld kwik" epoxy not to be reliable to be honest. My adapter quickly came clean off the plastic piece with the jb weld still on the glass once it heated up. I normally dont vape under 390° as I go for effect and the taste is still there (many times better than combusting) and then I raise it to 410° after 3-5 draws.

The jb weld doesn't adhere well to the plastic. I decided to make the surface of my plastic piece more rough to give it more grip. I sanded it down with 80 grit sandpaper instead of using my dremel and then I moved up to 150 grit paper and left it alone after that. There is a semi smooth surface as a result.

As for the epoxy, I decided to use my tried and true loctite epoxy that I use on all my wood work and other diy's.

This stuff is no joke! I mixed some up and applied it to the seam between my adapter and plastic piece while clamped. I had to leave for work so I left the PonG adapter clamped until the morning when it should be fully dried. I will post pics of it when I get home and will put it to the test to see how it holds up. I don't see it coming off now but time will tell....

I also like that the loctite dries clear. Its a cleaner look. And again, this stuff is no joke! I have built dressers with no nails or screws before. Yea, you read that correct and I haven't had a single fail to date. This stuff is amazing. I don't see it letting me down now.

Just wanted to put the info I found on maximum rated temperatures of these epoxies in the Crafty thread as well for anyone else considering a muzzmod.

From the datasheet:

http://www.loctiteproducts.com/tds/EPXY_HEAVY_tds.pdf

Service Temperature:
Long Term Exposure: -9°F(-23°C) to 120°F(49°C)
Short Term Exposure: -9°F(-23°C) to 302°F(150°C)

Kwik is rated to 300F as well, but the jb weld (non kwik) is 500F if memory serves me. (edited in facts) So far after a few sessions mine has held up. I will be honest, it will not be my primary method of vaping so my use case may be different than yours going forward.

http://www.jbweld.com/products/kwikweld-twin-tube

J-B KwikWeld cures to a dark grey color, is rated at a tensile strength of 2424 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 300ºF.

http://www.jbweld.com/pages/faqs

Original j-b weld can withstand a constant temperature of 500º F. The maximum temperature threshold is approximately 600º F for a short term (10 minutes). Refer to individual product packages for more temperature information.

Hey Guys

Think today's the day i finally grab my first Vape, The CRAFTY :D

Just want your opinion one last time..

So i can grab either...
Alfa+ Hydrotube for +/- R3100 (on sale)
Crafty for +/- R4100

I know all the positives and negatives for each respective vape. What i want to know is if the extra R1000 outlay of cash for the stock Crafty worth it compare to a stock Alfa with hydrotube attachment.
R1000 is like 9 grams of good indoor herbs . Simple as that.

Even typing this out feels dumb because i know the Crafty is a beast and will always be sitting on my mind if i dont buy it haha, but pls just validate me here and calm my nerves.

Was supposed to get my Mighty today. Turns out they shipped to the wrong address - even though I handwrote on a piece of paper specifying the correct return address (I also shipped it from the address I wanted it sent back to). Somehow they put in my old address instead. I called my former residence and they had to refuse the package and ship it back per their complex's policy.

Completely frustrated. I don't know how S&B could have made such a dumb mistake. I really hope they can ship one out today via next-day air - in my opinion, it's the least they can do. One headache after another...

Wow, that's really too bad. Sounds like no communication between the people who get the unit for repair and those that send out the replacement. Your old address was still the one in their shipping system. :( Be patient and as polite as you can, I hope they take care of you.

I would just go for the crafty.

I purchased countless other vapes before the crafty: Solo, Flowermate V5s, Indica, Hebe Titan2.
They were all retired after my crafty.

I bought a hydratube, but don’t find myself using it much as I had envisaged with any of my vapes.
The crafty’s vapor is so cool, it’s like some of my other vapes running the hydratube.

Welp, my first Crafty is dead on hour 97. Mid session, Crafty turned off and now only communicates in red and orange flashes. This is after a series of overheating issues that began manifesting in the last two weeks.

Not a happy camper. :-(

@Marky - any advice on how to best go about handling this with S & B in an relatively painless way?
