Give it a nice long heat soak. I'd start at 11V which after it's best soaked should drop to 10V, at least that's been my experience. Both my OAB and VB are at 10.2/10.3V after sitting for an hour and I like the results.

I really like my Lamart whip but I would never recommend one for the VB/OAB, there's way to much draw resistance introduced imo. Also I'd want the length longer personally.
I can see what u mean about the reduced draw resistance but I would recommend everyone who owns a “standard size” silicone whip to at least give it a try - like I said a few pages back, variety is in some ways I think I prefer the tighter draw. Won’t be for everyone though, that’s for sure!
The new OAB Black/blue Cobblestone arrived. It's beautiful, viewing it on the site, I wasn't quite positive what the splotches looked like in person. But wow, it's a gorgeous gold and a lighter blue. The white pops more in the pictures, the contrast is unreal! Definitely much smaller than the original design but with the ball fitted on top, I can't wait to see the results. Heat sinking now at 10.2, hopefully, be in use in the next 10 minutes. Once again, @Jaxel and Collyland killed it!
Wow - what a beauty! I love that glaze - enjoy it!
edit - just to add on about varying voltages - of the two classics that I owned, both were vastly different in ideal voltage. One of them would combust over 10.8v and the other wouldn’t hit well until at least 11.0v but could go much higher. My OAB seems to be best around 11.0-11.2, so just remember to take any voltage recommendation with a grain of salt, and experiment for yourself! Also keep in mind that your ambient temperature/environment plays a significant factor as well - I noticed a 0.2-0.3v swing between winter and summer here!
