FC-1000 - dab of sublimate oil

I'm really liking this so far :)
It's a bit big for dabbing with regularly, but its fine once every now and then :)

I haven't cleaned it out yet, I'm going to give it a PBW wash in the next couple of days, but I can't see it being too hard to clean.

I received my FC-1000 on Friday and I'm really happy with it.

Everything seems to be straight and lined up. The bottom of some pillars have smaller openings than others but it doesn't seem to be an issue. No scratches or cracks and all the welds are nice and clean.

You can use a range of water levels, it isn't picky. I have used it with my EQ and solo but haven't spent enough time with it to really get to know it.

Looks awesome! The vapor billows into the top chamber exactly how it's supposed to. Can't wait to get mine.

How hard is this to clean and drain the water out?

Emptying the water should be easy. It's not like some stacked perc pieces where you have to flip it multiple times to get everything out. All you would have to do is flip it and tilt it so the water pours out of the mouthpiece, and maybe flip it once more to get any excess water out of the matrix.

Can anyone compare or tell the difference between the FC-711 and the FC-1000? Matrix vs showerhead?(or whatever you call it)
as @NickDlow said, it's the fc-1000

It is the matrix pillar, with bubbler style mouthpiece, 18mm female inlet
There's also the fc-707 - which is exactly the same except for a bent neck tube style mouthpiece.

The fc-711 is the mini pillar.
It has a different perc - a little egg shaped showerhead
Different pillars - only 4 vs the matrix pillars 8
Much smaller volume
14mm female inlet
different mouthpiece - direct knockoff of the sovereignty original

My :2c:
The matrix pillar is more of a flowers unit... There's no reason you couldn't take some fat dabs through it, but it's large volume isn't the best for oils generally
I am seriously loving it after using it with the solo and LSV - It's actually a serious contender for my favourite bong I own :D

The mini pillar is much more of an oils unit, more noticeable drag ime...
It's a really nice little rig, and it's certainly cool if you're looking for a relatively high diffusion dabbing rig, but I personally wouldn't consider it a must-have...

The fc-1000 is MASSIVE compared to the fc-711.

That is the REAL sovereignty mini pillar.
The fc-711 is a direct knockoff of that design.
So yep, they're pretty similar :)

It's here guys, get your plastic out if you've been waiting for the straight fab from Steven!

Been waiting for something new on Dhgate to spend my money on!

Torus with slits in the perc rather than the big holes. (Video shows new perc function, not actual piece)

The pull on this looks sooo much smoother than the big holed torus'. It almost looks too easy too pull. hopefully the video of the actual finished torus will clear that up

IMO that is too much water. Now that is stacks better. I think the water would be good just over the perc

That's what i was thinking, I keep my WOL torus water level about halfway in between the perc and funnel. With the slit perc, however, i'd think the water level needs to be closer to the perc as well.

do you know if its going to be straight neck?

This one is for you @rakka. It might be a touch big for the solo but I don't mind it. It might work best if you prime it. Let the vapor start entering the top chamber then breather out and start pulling again. Should be able to cash the load in one hit that way.

Hell yeah thanks for that nugg! If it seems just a touch big then it'll be perfect for me. D020-D and GB-187 are awesome of course but sometimes I feel they're on the small side. Besides, I was happy hitting the solo through my Black Leaf double honeycomb perc bong, and there's no doubt there'll be a lot less chug/restriction with the FC-1000's matrix/pillar combo

And with larger pieces if I feel I'm running out of oxygen I just pause and inhale through my nose a bit and that allows me to continue the hit no problems for a while longer :D

I've found myself priming it like that :)
Only with the solo though - with my LSV and Sub, I don't find it necessary...

As for caching a solo load in one hit - Good lord, I wouldn't be able to even inhale for that long...
A pretty quick stem for me would take me like 6 mins, I almost always end up taking about 10-14 minutes to finish a stem.
That's not chain hitting it, just comfortable pacing of hit - cough - repeat when lungs are ready or solo heater light is off, but I definitely get 6-10 nicely large hits from a stem (I start at 4, get 3-6 nice clouds, then bump it up to 7 to finish).

If it seems just a touch big then it'll be perfect for me. D020-D and GB-187 are awesome of course but sometimes I feel they're on the small side.
I'd been pining for a larger piece for a while, but couldn't find anything that interested me...
The FC-1000 is a bit smaller than what I was envisioning for my large piece, but after using it, it has a very nice volume - can't say enough good things bout my FC-1000 :D

potential FC-1000 buyers beware...

I've never wanted to look at myself while take rips until this thing arrived. now I'm making clips I even brought a mirror into the bedroom to watch the performance. creepy voyeur shit.

seems like my 18.8 mm female joint is more like 19mm kind of annoying when someone like my cloud buddy is involved, otherwise negligible.

for dabs I have best results using extremely small amounts of material with the intent on non carbed rip. I clear it straight through and it is very pleasant. I've also gone normal / healthy size and when the vapor cleared and I was staring at a quart of milk in my chamber. lol a situation I like to avoid

Has anyone gotten a tracking number on an FC-UFO in the past 2-3 days? I'm waiting for them to start shipping the units before I ping Steven again about shipping my replacement.

I always use a mirror when I vape through my DHgate glass, it's the only way to fully enjoy the bubble magic and pieces which vortex...but yes, it does sound odd to the uninitiated like some kind of narcissism.
.....................................................................................

I've started to sometimes vape in front of mirror with my bubbler or hydratube as it is the only way to see the bubble action.
Also, at night with my miniVAP where I hold the purple or green or red light up to the bubbler and watch the colored symphony of bubbles :)

kathy0578 had that same piece but it was around $100 and had no watertest video so that was a definite no-go. Looks kind of intriguing when it is cheaper though.
