Cheap High Quality Bubbler

.... I'm fairly certain both of the links I shared have 18-14 in both directions available... Check their other links, they both offer that, I have that from each of them...

Yes, a lot of stuff there is there because of us, that manufacturer puts that in the design name for many of the models that originated from members here helping them, there are many custom orders that have become readily available on DHgate and many sellers are easy to work with, accommodating with the message feature there

Thank you. At first blush I didn't like "the look" of the Genesis down drop as much as some of the 18 to 18 options, but I may need to recalibrate.

Good to know FC is a nod.

As I "research" I've found the evidence of you making positive contributions to the refinement of SamL glass. Good on you both!

Yeah they might not look the nicest but they are actually extremely effective, quality is not perfect but for the price very impressive design ultimately... Also the ones from glass manufacturers are available 14-18 every size direction though (and I forgot to mention in relation to your photo mockup, what's really great is turning the drop down adapter to the side so then everything is not all in a row but compact in one little circle essentially really nice and you can turn them mouthpiece so you can make it like a sidecar watching the vapor fill etc) and vgoodiez dropdowns too

Haha yeah it began a long time ago way back in this thread when people were sending designs for them to make, there's a long history of that with FC, manufacturers come and go, and different people etc. That company came back and was really requesting more help and I had some great designs that were no longer available anywhere else so it seems like a great opportunity to make everything more accessible for everyone, although it can be hard to find everything listed out in one place and there are so many different opinions out there that can lead you to poor choices...

I really appreciate the assistance. I'm looking forward to building my rig.

I like your idea of turning the drop down to the side. Nice and tidy.

My FC-199 is in transit. This will be good.

@Shit Snacks

As my FC-199 is in transit, and I have time to dream and pre-visualize, I modified the "concept" based in your excellent suggestion to move the drop down to the side.

That works, huh?

Credit where credit is due.

Bill

This is exactly how I use my FC-199 with the drop down and the CC Omega ball vape (minus the whip, which I don't like). So yes, that works and will definitely be fun. :science:

This will be my first piece with a whip.

It may (or may not) prove to be my thing, but for the intended use--as a tabletop with a ball vape, with old folks that I won't want to scorch accidently--it is something I have to try. Finger crossed.

I bought this when it was a really cheap piece from TAG. You’ll like it. It’s solid, good perc, very versatile with the mouthpiece joint.

So am I to understand that the FC-199 is essentially a clone of a TAG design? If yes, is it a current production model (model #)?

The modularity and compactness of this rig should suit me well. I have something else for "handheld."

I do like the idea of being able to go easily from hose to mouthpiece. Versatility.

Yeah it started that way, then we suggested they make it different to set it apart from the TAG, other people requested it become combined with the straight fab FOL style, the original TAG has a super slit donut (not actually a donut but they called it that) fountain perc (they call it shower head now but that's also not accurate really)

So the 199 now has laser cut FOL fountain perc and straight fab cylinder section as well, making it further different from the TAG offering...

Yeah I also really like turning the mouthpiece sideways, a different long mouthpiece with a 45° angle adapter, very nice from couch with coughee table, great visuals too... Also you will see in person, the main chamber piece is actually smaller than you might expect, pretty handheld capable too after all

I caved and bought this. Thanks for finding it!

The seller was very responsive over chat and this comes with 14mm connection but can be made with 10mm if you ask. To be safe, put in your order comments that you want it for the connection type you need. Delivery was 2 weeks or so to the US. Fast enough that I felt it arrived sooner than expected.

The lotus doesn't work on it due to the stir tool FYI, but I don't care because the Fusion with open airflow absolutely RIIIIIIPPPPPSSS. Something about the mouthpiece, which has the tip like an elev8r stem, directs a jet of vapor straight down the hatch. I only ever run it dry and cooling is absolute. It clears really quickly, too, which makes for a fun time lifting the WPA a bit to introduce a blast of air. Like dabbing dry herbs.

The feet are functional, and having it stand up is a huge plus. I wouldn't say they are the greatest feet I've seen on a hook, but it does the job. Glasswork is good, and straight, GonG is properly sized, glass seems thick and well worked. It's got a "grandpa's pipe" shape and aesthetic nailed down, and you can easily see down to the base to judge vapor production when using it.

Extremely small for the amount of cooling it provides, and being able to add a bit of water is something I might mess with in the future since my throat appreciates it in the winter. No splash back or sucking up that I found when I tested it once with water.

How is the airflow ? Not too thight ?
I would like to know if it is working well with water (enough cooling, and don't drink the water each hit).
I need a small bubbler for travel.

Sounds like it does, but I would say it's more of a wet hook, than a small bubbler... So you won't be loading much water, just enough to condition a bit, slightly smooth the vapor?

Airflow is good, and I feel it "rushes" air through. This is subjective, but I am impressed. I don't think it needs water to provide proper cooling, tbh. Water would be more to provide humidity and I recommend a very small amount. It's intended for putting a dab banger on, so it doesn't mess around.
