$20 off $329 purchase or $8 off a $200 purchase lol

edit. something relevant.

ordered 2 dabaccinos from atomizer88 for $10 each a couple months ago. received them and completed order without fully inspected one of them. about a month later realized it was unusable, hole in joint, mouthpiece sealed closed), contacted atomizer88 with photos and video. they asked if replacement could be sent with next order, i told them they didn't have anything else i wanted, they mailed out replacement. received and it's in perfect shape.

tl;dr atomizer88 goes on my list of trusted sellers

None taken! I'm curious what sucks so much to your eye, though. Is it general proportions/aesthetics, or do you think there may be a functional issue with those changes? Or am I missing something else entirely?
1) making the piece smaller sucks
2) angling the mouthpiece sucks
3) shortening the pillars sucks
4) Lastly if nothing else the worst part making that can at the top so large just to remain empty for vapor to condensate on the glass

Well, my UFO v2 came in from Steven. Perfect condition. No replacement for my first 80 dollar piece from months ago (it was a shitty design anyway). But the packaging was really good and it basically kicks ass with the enano and Joda adapter. Can't complain about that. Really nice piece. Not sure if I should press on him about that or just move on. I think I have enough glass that I can hold out for custom local work at this point... (hahaha we'll see about that)

But above all, its good to know that the shipping and packaging was reliable. Pretty flawless transaction.

I watched the video. How many times would the vapor contact water and are there any diffusion slits at all?
No slits.

It's basically kinda a natural perc up the inner up stem bit.
i have yet to receive an answer on the purpose of this perc
Purpose?
"A bit more than super low diffusion, with a very small amount of dry surface area for reclaim to form on."
Would be my rough description of it...

For me it definitely smooths out dabs more than my tiny rigs with a natural perc or a 1-2 hole/slit Diffy...
I guess it's because the pillar effect of the upstem allows more water contact time or something?

It retains flavour really well.

All that water volume means the water doesn't go stale for a longer time.

The effective volume (basically just the downstem and the area of the can/neck that doesn't hold water) of the piece is actually quite tiny.

It is one of my favourite pieces for dabs, and I generally prefer the maximum amount of diffusion possible (I used my LSV today in a setup involving a hydra base and 3 hydratubes stacked :D)

Nothing like stacking tubes for MEGA HITS!! My GBD Fritter is always the middle piece!!

Asked if my replacement FC-1000 would be an updated version, and Jane provided me with measurements for the revised one. (Still unclear which version I will be receiving)

I know the general consensus was against these changes, but I'm struggling to understand why. I think the shortened pillars will fire easier and the larger upper can should help mitigate splashback.

Thoughts?

That is awful! Makes me very glad I got the FC-1000 when I did.

Its almost been a month since I got it and it has become my daily driver. It reminds me a lot of the M&M Tech Lattice bubbler actually and that was my daily driver for a long time so it makes sense. I love the largeness of it...I can just lean in and take a hit with it sitting on my desk. It takes a little bit of a pull to get it started but once you are drawing it is effortless. With its size and heavy diffusion this thing is a beast for vaping flower. By far my favorite Chinese piece. I was considering ordering another just to have as a backup...I guess not now.

So I picked up a d020-d from SSS a while ago. My main issues with it is:
(a) glass nail dumps my oil
(b) tough to rig a pen up to it without using a wick or rubber/silicone seals

To combat the first issue, I figured I'd replace the nail. The top of the invluded nail is shaped poorly, and basically funnels my oil out a spout. I end up getting no vapor in my hit and having beautiful golden concentrate all over the inside of my rig. Should I get a nail for the included dome and adapter, or go domeless? Is the advantage to domeless the ability to carb cap? Are DHgate nails worth exploring?

I dunno, I took a long hard look at the FC-710... it just looks so simple, so cheap. I wish they would put that perc design in a better looking rig. I guess after the fab egg and recycler I will go with the matrix sidecar and that 710... hopefully I like it.

The b020 and b020 d I think they were called looked legit too.

Pretty cool. Anyone got a milk vid of the CCG torus with a banger or bucket or some sort of nail or enail? Thanks

For a prototype this thing is done really well. The mouthpiece could be a smaller diameter and there needs to be joint support.

Count me in for one of these! Like you said the mouthpiece diameter looks to be a little to big but other than that it looks great for a proto. If I were to add my 2 cents I think the mouthpiece needs to have a little more lean to it as well...Also, Im sure he will add a joint support , but do you know if he is going to try to copy mobius new joint support design?

You know, I am waiting for my FC 1000 and am not bothered at all if I get the original or the v2. The changes look pretty minor and until someone has tried one we can't really tell if it is better or worse. (IMO).

The only thing I would change (possibly) is to have a nice thick neck add a couple of pinches to the neck, so you can add ice if you want for additional cooling.

In what instance would I use a diffuser pump or the mobius binary matrix clone? (getting ready to add to the family)

I would definitely buy a new nail asap. There are some on DHGate worth exploring. I went with Quartz Bangers from Kathy to try out and I love it more than Ti. I got the 4mm quartz bangers on order from JLHsmoking now. I got a universal Ti domeless nail from Kathy also that I like. Although, some may be wary of purchasing Ti from China, so even moreso I'd grab quartz banger.

I haven't tried any nail that need a dome... But I've tried the free glass nail and its rubbish.

Edit: I was unable to find a ceramic nail design I liked after 3 nails. Wouldn't suggest you explore these unless someone else can suggest one.

I've been wanting to pick up the fc-710 also, but couldn't understand the function lmfao.
However, @FrederickMcGuire's post after yours, finally paints the picture for me ha-ha. Thanks for that bro!

Edit: Who's got the best dropdowns/reclaimers on DHGate? Need to get 4 to help keep the rigs clean :(

Edit2: My Straight Fab finally tracked 7/1! Ordered 6-12/13. A bunch longer than the ~10days it originally said it was gonna ship out, but I don't mind. (Not sure, but I think I read someone bought one after me, and it shipped b4 mine.) Can't wait! Hope it arrives alive!

I think I have found my Sublimator glass i have been searching for. Finally. Large heavy sturdy base. Just hoping the natty perc is enough diffusion :\
