Thank God I have zero interest in those Fab eggs, looks like a lot of hit or miss quality issues!

Still haven't seen anything in a month or two I actually want to buy from DHgate. Pretty much already cherry picked my favorite pieces from China.

Maybe it's time for me to move on and start investing in some quality American Glass

Obviously the second listing stole the pics straight from Smoke Cartel and I usually never trust a seller without a function video, but I really want to trust that they can make it perfectly

Update one my CCG eggs. I have found a leak in 2 of my CCG eggs now, they are pinhole leaks but Im very dissapointed in my purchase. I woukd avoid these eggs if I were you. Ill post a video of both of them leaking later today. And that steven torus is extremely tempting, it looks just like the WOL torus which I already have on the way.

At these prices it is getting harder to justify because I could get distilled's recycler for the $150 range and people have raved about its functionality. They are not quite the same thing but I think I only want one recycler so this is a tough decision.

Well my FC-187 v2 arrived a couple of days ago, and I am VERY pleased with my purchase. Eleven days from order to my door.

While I don't have anything similar to compare it to, it seems to be a nice heavy piece of glass. The draw is smooth as silk. I wasn't 100% convinced on the sidecar option, but I am now. I really like this setup.

Thanks to everyone for posting their thoughts and reviews of these glass items from China. It made my purchase decision much easier.

Just got my CCG Fab Egg. Ordered it on 4/13 and arrived today. Joint seems to be level, bowls and adapters fit fine, no leaks, and I have a 7 slit showerhead perc instead of the 6 pin hole. Paid $52.64 for the Egg, bowl, and 14mm to 14mm adapter. Hopefully those 9" eggs come out more consistent. I'm holding back on purchasing one until I see a few reviews.

I agree. It's awesome that the chinese blowers are capable of mass producing glass of this quality but the costs are rapidly approaching american glass.

John in my experience you would have to wait a long time for one.

I wouldn't be so dismissive about the $70-$80 prices after all it does take time to make a piece that recycles/has art/is shaped oddly.

I've gotten many great pieces that hit like they should be $400.

Many of you have sang similar praise. Let's just pay the damn people it's not that much more $$. This is a handmade good we're talking about!

does your egg function differently then the pinhole perc eggs?

I believe that the rapid heating from the torch caused thermal shock causing it to break. I usually heat from the side and I seem to always crack them, although I have 1 that I have used on and off for 6 months that hasn't cracked. But to prolong the life of ceramic nails I think it is better to heat from the top than the side. I would appreciate if anyone can confirm this since I usually don't heat this way.

well heres my fab egg video, i have found nothing wrong with it. function is perfect. maybe having shower head slits instead of pinholes would allow better air flow but the drag isn't bad AT ALL

that scratching sound is from the ripples on the glass its sitting on in the beginning of the video. the bottom of the fab egg is completely smooth and solid

edit: this is the ceramic combo it comes with (female domeless and carb cap)

the domeless seemed to crackle on heating so i put it away lol.

Apart from cannabis related items I have been buying from China for quite a few years. I find that something that is cheap and crap to be way more expensive than simply getting a good deal on the real item. I guess my point is if you spend $70 or so on a bubbler and it doesn't function, well it is simply a waste of money. This has been my experience with Stevenlmz79. Everything I have gotten from him has had a flaw that affected function.

This really pisses me off that CCG has two different version. One with a perc that isn't so great and one with a perc that looks like it would function much better.

I am happy to see that you got a good one, but it kind of sucks for the rest of us that are stuck with the draggier perc.

I messaged Chinaaaron asking what type of perc is in his Fab Egg and I explained the issue with the CCG perc. If the Chinaaaron Fab Egg has the same 6 hole perc then I am going to cancel my order and message CCG and explain my disappointment and see if I can get a discount on one of their "good" fab eggs.

On a more positive note, my WOL knock off (is china really knocking off china pieces now lol?) sold by No1BigShip shipped today. It is the same one Steven just posted, however I got it for $56. Looks like No1BigShip only had 2 in stock though. I'm hoping it is the exact same one that Steven is selling. Hell No1BigShip may have even bought it from Steven haha

Ok upon full review of my eggs from CCG I realized all 3 came broken and Im super dissapointed. One leaks air and water from a pin hole in the front, another leaks air and water from where the support for the joint connects with the egg body and the third is cracked on the downstem. Heres a video of all 3 showing each ones defect. I messaged CCG about this, with a link to this video Im waiting for a response.



UPDATE:
CCG said they will send me replacements for all 3 and asked me to take the video down so I am.
