my bad, I didn't look close enough, looks very similar to the reducer listing. sorry folks... you are right they are not listed anymore that I can find either... bummer.
Wait for the diffusion pump from Steven, coming soon thanks to the Concept Glass thread. That's the piece I think my JoDa honeybucket is destined for, personallyIs anyone thinking of ordering this one:
The last piece i bought has terrible function and i dont even use it. Does this look like it would be good for dabbing? I'm looking for a piece to pair with my JoDa honeybucket
I'm no more angry now than I was upset two pages ago when you accused me of being that. And I certainly never meant to offend you. I misinterpreted what you were saying when you said you "wouldn't recommend anything from china where the combustion/vaporization takes place," and assumed you meant all China glass pipes. I didn't realize you were referring only to Chinese nails. Had my interpretation been correct, my question regarding your reasons for participating in this thread would have been very valid, but I now see that that's not what you meant. I hope there's no hard feelings or anything. At what point do I not recommend China glass, I just said you get what you pay for. I said I don't recommend anything where combustion/vaporization takes place (nails, domes, bangers). Don't displace your anger at me.
Man I'd agree with you on the diff pump, but I do think that the piece you linked (pretty much a pyrology knockoff) would have quite good function, albeit quite the diffusion for dabs, so if you wanted lower diffusion go for the diff pump (honestly I barely think the vapor will touch water barely much at all in motion to cool the smoke which is part of why they work well, people like it for the cooling of the water coated tube/you really want a little water diffusion for dabs due to their nature). The piece though seems to be a very solid pyrology knockoff and I would grab if I was in need of a recycling rig.Wait for the diffusion pump from Steven, coming soon thanks to the Concept Glass thread. Now that I understand you: I definitely know enough to avoid Chinese TI, but I've always heard that quartz is safe as you're much less likely to encounter impurities. Do you know of reasons to avoid Chinese quartz?
You might be right. I've never actually hit a diffusion pump, so I'm just going off of what I've heard others say. Which piece that I linked? Are you talking about that Vertigo pillar recycler I posted on the concept glass thread a couple of weeks ago? I still think that one would be amazing, like potentially the perfect rig. I've got a couple of really impressive looking function videos bookmarked, I was actually thinking of posting them up again over there and see if people take to the idea...Man I'd agree with you on the diff pump, but I do think that the piece you linked (pretty much a pyrology knockoff) would have quite good function, albeit quite the diffusion for dabs, so if you wanted lower diffusion go for the diff pump (honestly I barely think the vapor will touch water barely much at all in motion to cool the smoke which is part of why they work well, people like it for the cooling of the water coated tube/you really want a little water diffusion for dabs due to their nature). Edit: I'd like to add my own question for you all. For those who have gotten dropdowns from china have they actually been 90 degrees? or is it worth it to just spend the extra 30$ and get a local.
I was actually referring to the linked video he posted earlier when he was asking for input on if it would function well as a daily driver (as i understood it).You might be right. Ah, Gotcha. I thought you were referencing something I posted...I was actually referring to the linked video he posted earlier when he was asking for input on if it would function well as a daily driver (as i understood it).
Personally I think it's probably one of the best recyclers in a while due to its inherent nature and would snap it up if it currently had a 18mm female joint (enail got me stuck on rigs that will work well with it haha, currently have a enail bangeron the way so only sights are on getting a rig that will function well with that and my 14mm-18male dd normal setup)
I'm sure I as well as many other users would be eager to see any new progressions/innovations and videos would be great! And hey if you haven't passed on the word yet @Erwin throw more female 18 or 14mm ideas at them! More adaptable for people who now just use dropdowns and also more interest for FC enthusiasts generally. I always have a few ideas floating around in my head for new innovations, so if you have a connect I'd gladly sketch some up on paper, honestly some ideas I am truly surprised aren't more copied currently, like the roor dome hasn't even been copied yet and I'd think that would be among the first.
*For those who don't know what this is, its basically a 14mm male dome that supports the nail (http://torontohemp.com/products/roor-germany-oil-dome-14mm-male-joint) that you place on their stand which lifts up the nail for you to heat (http://torontohemp.com/products/roor-germany-oil-dome-holder-nail-lifter-14mm-female-joint). I've seen and held/put together the parts, and it seems so basic but at the same time very intuitive. I see it as a much better option for dabs than a nail + dome regularly, and possibly replacing my domeless if it does get reproduced/dhgated. It really seems nice to just have a basic bong setup that you can heat seperately from your rig (giving you no risk of cracking) while also being handsfree like a domeless. (somewhat akin to a honeybucket in a way I guess)
If Chinese TI is so bad then can someone recommend a new place to get good cheap nails? Lol I had ceramic but it just finally cracked so I wanna get one that'll last. Preferably universal
I'm new to this all and want something small. Will this work with an UD or a Solo? That looks identical to another piece sold by growhighglass aka CCG.
Here's the link to the Dhgate page:

Here's a function video:
Looks like that top chamber can fill up if your not careful but that might also be because he has it overfilled
I use a solo the most.I'm new to this all and want something small. Will this work with an UD or a Solo?

I'm ready to buy my first water pipe for my solo and UD. I was going to wait but my breathing is making it difficult to vape dry. I've narrowed it down to 3. The first 2 are pretty much the same price and I don't know enough to figure out the difference:

the third is the fc-187: http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/2014-new-matrix-sidecar-glass-bong-birdcage/214701656.html
I'd appreciate any advice from you. I have wong's coming from Ed's in a different size connector for each vaporizer.
I don't know if anyone posted these already but Steven has Dabbaccino knockoffs for $29.10 with the cool logos sandblasted on and avaliable in all sizes 10, 14, and 18

Ah, Gotcha. I thought you were referencing something I posted...
So I just spent a solid 5 minutes trying to figure out what this roor dome thing is, and I don't know if it's because I'm going strong today or what but I can't honestly figure it out. Do you have a better description link and/or a function video? I just can't seem to conceptualize exactly what it is or how you use it...
In regards to this, I have to say, for the original dabbucino was just an idea and creative sandblasting, and china will have no respect for copying popular design and to be honest the function should be the deciding factor (which evol would take cake in, obviously), it shouldn't put you off a thread/group all together. People like a popular and easy to copy cups from china and they also like the sandblasting of it, the perc and everything resemble nothing of the original that aside. As far as passing off cups as being from evol, thats a different story and is scummy and terrible/illegal matter seperately, although I don't think anyone here has been trying to call them the original dabuccino, we all know clones all too well and are actually avidly opposed to it as you can see in our previous mobius deal with maarte. You are pretty much endorsing 1:1 knock offs that are getting used to rip off unaware customers. This is why I kept reporting posts of those, sadly to no avail. How anybody into glassblowing can still support this thread is beyond me. I for one am out.
Solid choice, D020 works great with the soloThanks everyone for your help. I went with the DO20 for now.
I have the GB-186 and like it a lot. My only gripe is that the mouthpiece is slightly too high for me to hit comfortably sitting in my "dab lab" chair. So I have my new evo coming in on Monday and just sold my bubbler and am looking for a replacement piece to use with the evo. I'm looking at the GB 186 and the d020d. I want a heavy hitter that can build a large hit but at the same time want flavor retention which worries me about the GB 186. Please let me know your thoughts.

I am into glassblowing, and I support this thread. I wonder if the first person to make a hamburger hated restaurants. Do you buy generic drugs? I think it's insane drug companys can patent a cheap product and charge an insane price, when other people/companies could easily make it but just wasn't quick enough for the patent. Now coverups or glass blowers selling as originals I don't agree! However, that is their faux pa not ours, shame on you for scolding our great community and seemingly calling us all hoaxers. You are pretty much endorsing 1:1 knock offs that are getting used to rip off unaware customers. I have said this before. I believe that the knock-off attempts can be taken as a positive. This will keep the real innovators doing what they do best, innovating! Now, as for outright counterfeiting. By this I mean branding a knock-off as authentic is bad. Absolutely unconscionable. I do, however laugh at the ROOR logos on my GB-186. I would not laugh if it had möbius logos on it and I paid $$$$ for it.
Counterfeiters should be shot with a ball of their own !
