i've seen it with american glass companies a few times. by breaking the piece and taking pictures, the company doesnt have to pay for return shipping. Plus they know it's destroyed so they only have to replace that item once (people are scammers and will try and get multiple replacements for 1 bad piece)

also their defective item will not be making the rounds and giving them a bad reputation, doubt chinese resellers care about this much though

The first thing that pops into my head with this is "I am selling b-broken stock so I can abuse the DHGATE refund system". Again, I really hope I'm wrong. But I do not have a tracking number for anything. Im going to sit here waiting for another weird message reassuring me while my DHGATE protection runs out? No, I'm going to make a move soon and report him if I don't get a valid tracking number for a product. Im not stoned yet this morning and im getting pissed off. hahahahaha

He had me break it because I said that I didn't want replacement but full refund. I did everything he asked and he just messaged me this morning saying that he still wants to send me a replacement. I am so pissed. He sent out bad glass on purpose and I don't want anything else from him. It is not acceptable that he made the rest of you pay $6.95 or however much for a replacement. The first payment entitled you to the glass and no one should have agreed to pay any extra in my opinion.

I believe that I was the only one asked to break his because everyone else accepted replacements. I think that he just wanted to be a dick because I wouldn't give him any more money

Honestly i'd just accept the replacement, mine is still 'usable' and i like it quite a bit.. It's a nice asian piece if you can get it without the major flaws >.< If you really don't want to however then this might be the time to file a dispute.

Whenever I have to get a replacement for a damaged piece I always offer to smash it to prove that im a trust worthy customer, I have had to get replacements on 4 pieces total over the years(including nails etc)

Because I offer to do this, the seller never makes me break it..

I understand your frustration, but breaking the glass is a more than reasonable request if you are asking for a refund. This way he doesn't have to pay to ship it back, and you're not getting a potentially usable piece for free. Magic flight does the same thing when they ship you a replacement, and I think we all know how well regarded they are.

Agree completely, stick to your guns; them thinking that's okay, isn't. I would have done the same thing.

Tell them to either get better QC or package products more efficiently. They know their business, them thinking its okay cause we get discounted prices over buying locally doesn't justify 'functional' unappealing glass.

we owe it to ourselves to reward the good vendors and screw the greedy ones trying to make a fast buck with false advertising

No issues other than a few bubbles where the bottom of the can and the sides meet. The perc is perfectly straight, I don't know if this is due to me requesting that he check the piece first before shipping it, or if I just got lucky. This was my first order with Yingman and I will say that shipping was really fast, I ordered it last Tuesday evening around 7pm and I received it yesterday morning. Also the packaging was the best I've seen from China, it was bubble wrapped and placed in a box stuffed with newspaper, and then the box itself was bubble wrapped. Thanks to @Cannabis Connoisseur for the heads up on this piece.

Great to know, thanks. My vision is kind of funky, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at here. What's the whip connected to? And it'd be awesome if you could take a quick height measurement, since the listing doesn't say. Thanks again.

What you're looking at there is a sublimator, going into a cloud buddy, going into that piece.
Then the whip is replacing the mouthpiece - which looks to be resting on a cool little stand.

It's about 4 1/2" to the top of the can, the joint extends a couple more inches, with regular mouthpiece, its about 10" tall. I am using an adapter to support my Sublimator. The whip is connected where the mouthpiece would normally be.
