I actually do that with the sellers quite a bit. If you place the order and wait they can make adjustments before you proceed to making the actual payment. If you negotiate a discount they will often take this route.

So I got my Ratchet recycler from yingmin and am very impressed overall. it has a pretty nice vortex action. And has no flaws at all really. Complete symmetry.

The only problem is that its 14mm while my whole other collection is 18mm. so I'm deciding if its worth picking up a new adapter/nail for. I guess this is an opportunity to get a new 14mm carbed nano GONG from Joda.

On a side note: the 14mm bowlpiece makes the most perfect carb cap that I've ever seen on any nail that I've used it on!

So I made the order, he changed it to $6.45, all good, he sent me this message and i'm probably just being paranoid but something about it is.. off putting..

I think he is saying he is going to remember you and fuck you up :) Translation programs produce some weird English unfortunately.

I don't think that anyone should have had to spend a single extra cent to get what they paid for or wait however many weeks for him to send out replacements. He is lucky we didn't all file disputes at the same time

I would be adding a link to this thread/forum and showing them that people are now reviewing and recommending items based on this thread and avoiding sellers that dont offer good service, im sure once they see that there is a cult following of dhgate glass the vendor will up their game, I tend to think in your case Blankrider the QC department might be rather lax, but that said glass that has not not been annealed properly may crack or explode when exposed to changes in temperature or even light nocks

I don't understand the things either. It looks miserable to hit. I can see it being a novelty piece more than anything.

I think I've been spoiled with Sunshine's speedy process. It's been 9 days since I ordered the Mobius from luka and it hasn't hit stateside yet. Usuaally sunshine orders would have been here or at the very least stateside. No biggie, as long as I get what I order within ~2 weeks I'm happy. Any longer than that I start getting regretful and wish I tried a different vendor.

Ooh, that recycler pic just convinced me to buy my first dhgate glass.

Seems to me like he's just saying thanks for sticking with him and not just demanding your money back, in a way. And that he'll remember you next time. Obviously a bit of a language barrier. I wouldn't assume anything really.

The dabbuccino rigs seem a little silly to me too, especially the real ones, but I can see how holding a cup is a bit more instinctual than most pieces. I'm considering the female joint version, but I'd like something with more diffusion.

I did a group glass cleaning today and reflected on the recent entries in this thread, about the broken and bad pieces. I consieder myself to be very fortunate to have had such good luck so far ordering so many. The worst I've encountered have been small cracks that have stayed small for months and given me no problems, a couple of pin holes in the welds, and some off center placement of mp or perc. Nothing so horrible as what I have been reading lately, and feel for all of you who have been going through it. I'm actually at a saturation point right now that not many of the new ones really grab my eye. I wish I could afford to buy heady american made stuff, maybe one day that will change, but for now I have appreciated the over all quality and funtion of most of my china glass. The tornado perc so far feels like the most "novel" piece I have, but it is fun to use once in a while.

I hope you guys getting bad glass can find some point of resolution soon.

Just got my gb-186 from Maarte. I guess they shipped it days before it was marked as shipped. Turns out it has roor logos instead of mobius logos, also the mouthpiece arm is kinda tilted to one side. Other than that I am loving it. Kinda reminds me of hitting the yq42, but easier to hit due to the mouthpiece instead of a straight tube. Don't care that much about the logo since I plan to get some simple green soon and take it off.

im fairly certain those labels are etched on during the annealing process so you may not be able to get it off at all, maybe a sand blaster might :p
