As you may remember, I bought that giant recycler bong. Arrived broken. He requested that I buy something else to help him with shipping as he sent another.

Well, the tracking number he posted was invalid and it never showed. He wrote saying he will ship again immediately. Both on China post and USPS its invalid.

Anyway, giving him the benifit of a doubt, I hope I didnt get rolled 120 bucks. Ill post the second it arrives and redeem his rep.

Can anyone else chime in on stevenlmz79 experiences?

I ordered the barrel to funnel recycler from stevenlmz79.

It should get delivered today so I will post about it tonight. Other members have said Steven admitted that the barrel to funnel is faulty so I guess we shall see if mine is or not...

I also ordered a dabuccino rig from CCG only because another member said it is exactly as pictured. It was accepted for shipment from China on Oct 22 and it still says accepted and has not departed which is unusual compared to all my other orders. I hope CCG isn't screwing me. I definitely am never ever going to order anything else from them again.

My barrel to funnel was delivered today and I get off work in a hour and a half to see what kind of condition it is in. I have my fingers crossed that it is not broken and of good quality. I was messaging stevenlmz79 back and forth about a replacement. He suggested that I order another item too, but I told him i'm not interested in spending more money right now and he dropped that suggestion. We ended up agreeing on me reordering the same item, but before I paid he adjusted the grand total to about $2 including shipping.
I'm supposed to be getting the replacement in about 3 weeks, since it'll take about 7-10 days to make the new batch.
So far i'd say he's a pretty legit seller, besides the problem with the glass. I didn't think i'd be seeing a replacement at first, but now i'm pretty sure one will be on it's way soon enough. I guess i'll really know in about 3 weeks.

Edit: Just thought i'd add that my barrel to funnel arrived cracked, not fully broken. I finally cleaned out the broken glass enough to use it. Even with the crack in the percs it functions well. Doesn't vortex at all though.

My endless search for a glass piece for my Solo continues .
I have some specifics that I am looking for and if any of you have followed my posts you know I am a picky indecisive bastard.
So here goes .
I will be using only my Solo as I can't seem to buy another vape that I like and I have given up on that .
I need something with a bent neck that is as close to horizontal as possible so I don't have to bend my neck much at all . This is my main problem
I always hold the bubbler I almost never use it sitting on a table .

Also I would like something with a 18mm Female joint because I already have a gong but I am willing to get another made for the right piece , and I would prefer not to use adapters .
I could use almost any bent neck piece but by leaning it the percs become useless and I usually end up with a mouth full of water .

I had a D020-d for a while I liked it but I had to turn to the side to not bent my neck and the solo would hit me in the face every time I hit it so that's annoying . I have avoided the D020 for the same reason .

I also had a D020-w-2 I liked the sidecar but using an adapter sucked and I preferred the dewar joint on the D020-d it was just easier to hold (my right had is not great )
I know they make the GB-288 but I hate the blue and no one has made a clear one .

So as far as I can tell that leaves me with the Gb-288 F with the Fritted disk . I don't mind this but I read in a previous post that the frit might be a bit to restrictive for the Solo . But I don't know I have never had a fritted disk.

I would love to get the DO20-w but no one makes it anymore .

I have also been thinking about the pnpwt form Sunshinestore but that entails getting another gong and from what I can tell a 14mm male gong would be almost useless if I don't like the pnpwt .
I thought I hears someplace that the straight solo stem can be used with the PNPwt but I don't know
I don't see a lot of 14mm female stuff . I could be wrong .

I have no problem picking up a 14 or 18 mm female gong if I find the right piece but I have not found it yet

It does not have to come for DH gate
Also I would like to keep it under $100 if I can but that's not a deal breaker .

ps. thinking about it though.. the adapter might be necessary anyway to raise it above the can.. i dont know if it would fit considering the joint being close to the can

So I just got home and unwrapped my barrel to funnel. The box did not appear damaged and I was presently surprised that it was actually double boxed. I had very high hopes that it would actually be ok but upon inspection I found a crack on the perc

And the perc is also all wonky

I am scared to even use it because of the message posted earlier about bad tempering. I guess I will start the process of trying to get this resolved

Thanks there is a Blue one but I just hate blue And I have asked all the DH gate sellers and they don't plan on making a clear one !

I had the male version so I had to use the adapter . And I have heard conflicting reports about it fitting .

Can anyone confirm if the Solo will fit on the d020-w-2 (female) with a gong without an adapter?

Ya know, have you considered buying an Ash-Catcher and pairing it with a nice J-Hook? You could get the sidecar action you want, perfect 90 degree action for no neck pain, and you could choose any sort of perc action you want! Hell, AC's are cheap enough you could buy several and switch them up!

(full credit to @ataxian for the idea of using a J-Hook with an AC)

(Sadly this AC is no longer amongst the living, snapped the blue neck when trying to catch it mid-fall! - never hit the ground, the sudden decrease in velocity from catching it was enough to break it!)

Mine has a huge crack by the joint
I am also going to contact the seller for a replacement.
