Well clean clear glass can go eat a massive dick.
Quick recap of my issue with them:
Got an item - wasn't functional by design.
Was offered free shipping on my next item as compensation.
The next item wasn't functional due to a blocked off uptake tube.
I requested (well, more like demanded tbh) a discount on my next order of 2 items because of all the issues I was having.
One of the 2 items didn't allow shipping to Australia so I was waiting for them to update the listing to allow shipping to aus before I could place the order to be discounted.
I was annoyed but happy enough at that point.
After messaging ccg at least 3 times informing them that the shipping issue needed to be fixed, and the only response being along the lines of "there is nothing wrong with the item, please place the order"
So I tried the dhgate live chat feature to see if that could help me, an after explaining the problem twice, the rep said they weren't at their computer and couldn't help me.
Being very frustrated at this point, I sent ccg another message, with a more stern tone, basically I had to talk to them like a 6 year old.
Finally this worked, and they updated the shipping on the item, but then I get a message from the owner of ccg (before this all messages were apparently coming from mike - props to mike, he seems cool enough) saying essentially
"I don't like your tone, there's nothing wrong with our items, no one else has complained so the problem must be you"
He also said (again, paraphrasing)
"You shouldn't ask for a discount on anything, you haven't sent us proof the item is faulty, send a video of it not functioning properly or we won't send a replacement."
I was never asked to provide any evidence and would have happily provided it if I was asked in a professional manner earlier, but I don't like the owner being so confrontational and dickish.
So basically, because the owner wants to be a douche, I'm officially ruling out ccg for any future glass purchases, and honestly wouldn't recommend them to anyone going forward.
