In the video , it is wobbly partly because of the surface it was sitting on and partly because of the tubing. It sits flat but it is tippy I think I need some help from @Ratchett with a couple of stands.

If it's got a vortex chamber it should atleast vortex a little.. Maybe it does! Possibly with the right balance or water and inhale speed it could work. It'd be a shame to have the vortex chamber for nothing

My ratchet recycler came from kathy - broken on arrival 
A significant chip on the base, and the join between the vortex chamber and main can has a crack all the way through it - as in you can separate them with a little pressure... And there's a hole there too
Waiting on kathy to get back to me about shipping out a replacement...
Also still trying to sort out a replacement from clean clear glass for the dodgey recycler they sent me - I'm not having much luck with the china recyclers

I personally don't see the appeal in the DO20s? They look ugly as all hell. I know they are popular but damn.. There are some other ones that look excellent though!

are knock offs of the mobius ion, I like them because they are simple and about 10% of the price of an actual mobius ion.

My sidecar arrived today.
The perc is a little high and the stem is off to the right a fair bit.
But hey for $40 it's solid, looks good and works pretty well.
Next to D020 for reference.

The D-020s are a god send for me. At only 32$ a pop, that's less than what a trip to a Pizza place costs.
Exactly. You have to pony up at least $300 to see if you like a Mobius Ion.
A D-020-D offers a very similar form factor that makes the Ion a big success, for only 1/10 of the price. What's not to love?

Don't get me wrong I do like, and i tornado perc thing is cool but if it was 1/2" lower it would be awesome. The right water level and draw and it should be a solid performer, I just wont get to fully test it till the weekend when I get out and make some oil.
I love my D020, $30, works well.
Not as big a fan of the D020-d but each to there own.
That's the best thing, so many options so little outlay.
