Hey Folks,
I stopped by a LHS and saw a few interesting pieces that got shipped in with some stuff I recognized from DHgate. I thought I'd ask if you guys had seen anything similar.

First was a clone of this, but with a honey comb rather than frit.

The Seconds was a really cool bubbler that had 4 smaller shower heads and had some green accents. It was a really cool piece!

Still have a Jones for a cheapie method vortex since my 1.5 lungs cant pull an avg size can with a lot of H2O ( the Tornado rig that I bought 2 weeks ago) , I found this A/C and I have a 18mm J-hook. Hopefully my lung and 1/2 can raise a vortex and it will hopefully shine

Ahh the Gas is bad in the morning and has to be relieved, I did so and it smelled like, ........MJ VAPOR OUT OF MY ASS CATCHER...:dog:

So today I've been using the cyclone piece with the Lotus and I have to say, they pair very well together, aside from how close the downstem is, my Lotus fits, but you could barely pass a hair between them. If you approach this one with a gentle start, then give it a good forceful draw after the water has lifted, I get very little strain or resistance. its a little strange having to watch the lower chamber for vapor production, as it fills up quite a bit before you see it go up to the can. After adjusting to how it draws, I have really been enjoying this one.

That one looks really good, I've been wanting a sidecar mini, 14mm rig.....it's even got a pretty nice looking dome.

MIght just have to experiment, I found too much makes it hard to draw, makes it get chuggy and splashes you at the end of the pull, too little and it's chuggy from the bottom, when it empties into the can. Part of the fun is getting to know your piece, I imagine they will vary in size and perc placement/quality a bit from piece to piece, so that makes it hard to pin down a water level.

They are just about the same size, as far as I can tell. Yingmin lists it as 6" tall with a 14mm male joint. The Hitman has a hammer perc as opposed to the tire on the clone, but they're pretty close in terms of diffusion. The dome on it looks pretty nice too, with a small handle. The Hitman also has a reinforcement to the MP, but it costs 15X more. . I've been wanting a rig like this for a while, ordered :)

Looks like Diamond Glass also makes a similar one. Reinforced MP too. Also has 2 stacked showerheads instead of one. Might be too much diffusion for this small of a can but hard to tell. $88 + about $10-15shipping.

I have basically the same rig. The only difference is the height the one I got from my LHS is a bit smaller. Honestly the slightly taller can size ying is offering seems like a good idea, even with the lowest water level possible to completely cover the perc every so often it bubbles enough that someone gets a little bit of water when taking a dab. Definitely get super tasty hits though and to me that makes it worth it. Only cost me around $40 dollars if I remember correctly. The only downside i've found is if you have a separate carb cap and dabber the smallness makes transitioning between the two hard.

i will be ordering from kathy or sunshinestore to canada aswell in a day or two depending on which glass i like. i really like the shipping prices of kathy, sunshinestore said they will ship two items for 55 bucks =X. how long does it usually take? Kathy is free. YINGMIN05 prices are kinda high =X but i love the look of gb-186/187. How far down is the joint recessed on the D020-D? I have a low pro adapter that I would have to use with it that has a lip on it. It looks like it was designed to help give clearence for something like that but I dont want to buy it then not be able to use it because my adapter wont fit.

I agree, side by side, the 187 is slightly larger/taller than the D020-D, and has a nicer look to the perc, but functionally they both have a similar draw, stack easy, almost no resistance.

*edit* the dewar on the D020-D isn't as deeply set in, as my 187. It seems to be more flush with the top, and the can is slightly smaller in diameter.

Just got my replacement GB-187 the other day from yingmin05. The first one had a crack around the dewar joint, though still functional -- not for sure how long! The second one I received has no cracks. The joint sits a bit lower than the first, so it's not a perfect fit, but is enough for a decent seal! My cloud buddy seems to alleviate the problem too.

just realized yingmin05 doesnt ship to canada?? i like the d020s but i dont want the solo to be sitting ontop of the can infront of my face, i rather the input to be beside the can .

@ataxian it seems like your D020-k has a female joint in this picture. Mine has a male joint, in case yours does too what size is that claisen going into it? I'd love to have a claisen that goes right into the bubbler as opposed to going through a female to female adapter first.

The CAISEN I have is a 18mm and I got it on ebay for $7.00 including shipping.
I think the D020 - K comes with a male fitting. I bought something similar with a 18mm female.
However a 18mm female coupler would work as well. It works really well either way.
I plan to buy more stuff however I ran out of room. Once I rebuild my Medical Area I'll get more stuff!

Truly one glass piece is enough.

I have a disease called GAS!
Do you have it as well?
