Cheap High Quality Bubbler

The D020D Handled the first session of my VXC like a champ. I'm really digging the bigger mouthpiece. The D020 was ok, but a bit too small.
All 20 hole don't fire constantly, but you can see them firing off randomly. I'm not drawing that hard either.

This is by far my favorite piece of glass from China. Wide base, awesome dewaar showerhead, and just the perfect size chamber. Feels solid and heavy, very very stable. And as you can see in the video, it stacks with ease.

Shipping was super fast too, 6 days, :brow: :D

Is there any place to buy it with free shipping?

Thanks for the vid! I especially like how you place the "D" on a large piece of salmon sashimi.

Great photo, thanks so much, is it fair to say that it looks like we'll all need the new D020-D anyway.

Love the greater can and the slightly large flaired mouth !

So the vid do you think it going to air on its own or what??? :brow::brow::brow:

Now they have a great can design sorted (both D's), can we look forward to a serie of D020-A,B,C.. I do hope so

Well I thought I'd begin with this proposal of ideas to Mike Lee at the Sunshinestore especially if he decides to push the D020 further and in the middle of new designs??

Any other perc styles guys ??? might as well

Next they'll be a special cupboard for the family D020, sweeeeeeeeeeet

I think I am going to buy this instead of the D020. It just looks a little sturdier and I like the wider base. To be used with an SSV.

Is there a cheap option out there that has a removable/upgradeable downstem?
In the long run, it might be more economical to just have to buy new stems as they come out instead of buying the whole rig each time.

You could never fit the variety of "what is coming out" down an 18 mm hole.
Intricate bubbling designs are designed to function in all in one pieces.. this is their purpose.
Removable downstems were too simple.
In other words you can't fit a waffle, or honeycomb that is on the end of a downstem, through an 18mm hole.

@Vitolo - Ed will be making me a Nano wong and stem. Will we need to somehow build into the stem/ss bowl a way to keep proper distance of the heater tip from the load, like the Epic vape adjustable glass stem w/the ID glass ring that bars the herb from getting too close? Thanks!
Edit: oops sorry ...thought I was in the Nano thread.

I am torn between these two and the sidecar.

I've never tried a sidecar before, so I'm interested myself. Hopefully it ships as fast as the D020-D. Yeah the base is wider and it has more weight, so the -D is much sturdier.

Should work great for the SSV, about the perfect height.

So here is a close-up of the perc, wish I had a slow-mo cam.

Just ordered the D020-D and an 18mm WPA for my SSV. I use my VRipTech Water Tool Perk with my SSV and a short hose, but it is too big for when company is over. I have a feeling this bubbler and a longer hose will be my standard for guests, hopefully!

I see your point. Some of these designs are so much larger and too delicate to be part of a removable system, that makes sense.

I am still so green in this hobby, the level of science has grown exponentially since I left 10 years ago- heck we did not even use the term back then.
It amazes me what these blowers are putting at the bottom of a stem these days...

I like where you're going, and the enthusiasm, but I think for now the best course is probably for all of us to keep emailing SunshineStore with links to the post in this thread with the original image you did with just the "Faketrix" perc, until he gives in and tries to have that made. If we start sending them too many variations of the same thing it'll dilute the message and we increase the chance of not getting any of them. Linking to the thread instead of emailing the pic is a good idea, too, as that'll let him see that his products are being discussed in English-speaking communities, and if he sees us as a viable potential market, he's more likely to listen to our ideas.

Plus if Mike at SSStore does listen and somehow finds a way to source and stock such a piece, and like we expect it immediately sells better than anything else on the storefront, then we know he's gonna listen to any further suggestions we might start sending in, and we open the floodgates for an era of cheap China glass that actually also has sound functional design and ergonomics...

So, anyone who has a couple minutes, why not spend them to send this link:

Its a fair point,

Lets discuss it amongst the com:

To start with I think an all around better communication with Mike could only be a good thing for everyone.

So how do we go about it???

Does Mike @ the Sunshinestore knows of this particular forum?

Is it a good thing for him to follow it up?

Would it be a good thing to actually invite him to follow it up?

I see your point of submerging him with too many ideas, good or bad thing?

From a business point of view I do believe that you have to keep some kind of pressure going on, out of site out of mind is too true of a premise, but lets not start annoying him too, need a proper balance...

What!?!?
So if I buy one of these bubblers from sunshine and it says the dimension where the bowl goes is 18.8 does that meant I can buy 18mm attachments. Looking to buy a titanium nail for one of these and not sure if I should be looking at the 18mm type or something more specific

Love that Perc. How does the spillover into the mouthpiece compare to the D020? That is the thing I am most concerned with. The slightly larger can size probably makes a difference.
My D020 is out for delivery so I will be able to play with it tonight, but I really wish I didn't already want something else... ;)

While "tree Arm Percs" are not my fantasy bubbler (I like honeyycomb discs)..
The reason I wenrt with the tree arm bubbler at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/page-207#post-582421 was to avoid spillover.
The mouthpiece being closed really stops any splash, and has the benefit of keeping the odor of the water away from my nose entirely. I wish they had a larger variety of the bubblers like the D020 and it's series with closed mouthpieces.

ataxian

PALE BLUE DOT
Ataxian has one of the D022's which has a removeable downstem, not sure the length but its 29.2 to 18.8
http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/d022-double-chamber-glass-water-pipe/184395777.html
I like the D022 the best.
22mm is the joint size then a 18mm down stem. So it's pretty adjustable.
The D020 I like and it is smaller however has a time and place for it's use.

The D-Series is nice to collect.

So far I have the D020 and the D022
The D020 - D is another one I wish to have.

Human wants are insatiable!
We always want more!

Just enjoy what ever you have.

Yes you're correct, in the glass world, 18, 18.8, 19 are all the same

Edit: The Sunshine store:

So guys any opinion on the approach?
