I remember how you could hardly see the "No Smoking" signs through the haze, and when Dio introduced Sweet Leaf, he asked, "Is that stuff you're smoking legal, or is it Sweet Leaf?"

I have to admit, I miss having the cover of all that tobacco smoke at concerts.

I saw the tour in Cleveland--"Black-n-Blue Sunday!"--from the first row and I can still feel the flame pots it was so hot. I felt a little ripped-off because no Ozzy until Dio started up. He was hilariously awesome. Frakkin giant-ass Godzilla blowing enough smoke to cover us all! That show was a ton of fun.

Oof that's a though call, I had my eyes on the SAML straight fab, but this one looks interesting. any thoughts?
I'm not in a hurry to order one anyway as the XL dimpled jhook by yingmin5 that I use cools so well, so I can't find an excuse to order one...yet...

Oh well they are totally different, there would be no point to getting the recyclers you plan to use it dry? Which might be what you are implying since you said you are using spiked hook in the meantime... Straight fab would be better as a dry piece for sure in that sense, but if you're talking about water to water, they are also not very much alike...

Yeah but because I'm clueless about bubblers (literally own 0 bubblers), I tried to figure out what considered the best, which straight fab and recyclers came to top of my list, with the thought that smaller bubblers might be better suited for a portable with wpa (so probably the smaller fab between the two lol). I mentioned my jhook because it makes me think I don't need much defusion going on that'll take away some flavor, but I'm not ruling up water as this jhook is more that enough for me for dry usage. And yeah if that's the case I wonder if I need a bubbler at all, which is why I didn't purchase one yet.
Anyway, I just noticed it became offtopic. Sorry about that and we don't have to continue this disscssion ^^

All good still pretty on topic, yeah depends on the vapes, but I think FC mod is still a great all-around, recycler and fab is sort of next level stuff and it can be really great experience but also not necessary and not an ideal experience for everyone and every situation (the FC mod has a better balanced perc for diffusion and flavor retention along with simple pathway and top down function for quick milking with most any vape balance with cooling -- FOL perc is great it has more diffusion though, you still get some flavor with the fountain style, but if you're going into a fab that could take away more, but it provides surface area cooling dry path, recycler is going to keep the water moving for more flavor with still smooth diffusion from all the slits, all are good!)

That's nice. I'm using a reducer on my 14mm mouthpiece from them which is fine, but I'd love to skip it. The vast majority of my glass is 19mm.

I am looking for another rig to go with the amazing Prophet to use with the ZX. Does anyone use it with THG's Sherlock Shredder? I would use it dry, maybe especially for low temperatures if it turns out to be too hot.
I'm looking for something that cools a little less than the Prophet to get even better flavor. I was also thinking of the Vertex used dry, but I imagine it might be too much like the Prophet in terms of cooling.

Straight Fab is fun to use dry more so than vertex perhaps... I wouldn't get THG shredder to use dry but think its great with water...

I've got it, it's a wonderful pipe and I don't see why it wouldn't work like you want. You could also try like a Herborizer Sherlock, that would be pretty ideal.

It functions really nicely. I'm using it with the Couch Log now and it's recycling to beat the band.

Edit: Function's great, you can drive it with a manual vape using breath control.

Oh I don't have one on the way, hopefully I'll try it someday, but I'm trying to sell more still and not buy! And I sent my green one on to Delta Hotel as well so someday I will need to replace it, although I don't want green haha I have influx on the way in purple however...

Would that SAML Klein be any good for dabs? I have been so tempted to get it but I mainly need a dab rig right now and it sounds like it's more for flower? I might get it anyways tbh. I've been really happy with my SAML straight fab.
