I emailed before ordering and they made my large inline with the cuts on the bottom. The small inline is tiny and hardly holds any water. Hard to tell how small it is from the website pics

Yeah for that reason I would actually get the small inline with the holes facing down if possible, so you have the ability to load less water for sure with less volume there, I gave that tip to @AJS when he got his from them, he did a nice Instagram video with the herborizer so could check and confirm which direction they're facing... It is a nice piece, closer to one of the herbo bubblers with small volume, good for flavor, the large inline is a bit big (larger than my inline honeycomb) though the small is quite small, something in between would be cool... Anyway I noticed vgoodiez got the small in stock with the color heady horns instead of a base, pretty cool looking, I just hate that flaring of the mouthpiece personally.

Love my piece, my cuts are on the top, no issues at all. I can put it just at level with the slits and it's very even percolation with amazing flavor, or add a bit more and the bubble stack and it's much more cooling.
I will say for a huge hitter like the Herborizer, long drawn out hits get a scratchy heat on my throat, and it's just more coughing in general. I have found a way to appreciate quick thick flavorful milks through this piece instead of long drawn out rips. I can still do both, but I have to be a bit more cautious of technique because the hot air can really hit me with this piece, which I never got with the D020D. I'm sure that would never be an issue with a lot of other vapes, just the high airflow high vapor vapes (and user experience).
Overall, I haven't touched the D020D since (I am a sucker for the newest toy though), and recently gave it away to my brother who just got his first vape (and LSV).
The long mouthpiece adds almost as much glass length as the downstem/can, so that helps cool without compromising any flavor.
If you're after flavor it really is phenomenal. It's really nice watching a smaller piece milk and clearing it with a nice short pull brings in less air and less bong flavor and more dense vapor flavor.
Mine gets dirtier much faster than I'm used to, but since I'm after flavor, I figured I'd clean it often anyway. I clean it daily, and it's about 15 seconds of shaking salt/iso and it's perfect. No tricky spots.

That sounds great. I'd been keeping my powder dry for the CouchLog drop and then the Anvil was available first and... I don't remember anything after that.
Do you have an Anvil yet? I thought I'd be annoyed by the long torch time but seeing as how it's the hardest hitting vape I've ever used I'll have to just try some different torches. It's unparalleled what the Anvil can do with maybe a vapcap worth of weed.
I'm still hoping that little recycler is fun with it since I don't own any 14F glass.
My other options at the moment are the gooroo large inline and the dusty old D020-D, both with a reducer.

Nice. I am still on the list waiting (I hope) for an Anvil, but I couldn't wait for the CL. My understanding is that they've opened the Anvil's draw a bit with the new iteration, so it ought to recycle fine. I don't think the torch times will bother me too much. That recycler is actually pretty good size and holds ~300+ml, iirc, but it's totally hand-holdable. I love this thing, even if the glass is a little thin and everything is a little crooked. It cools, adds moisture, and presents flavor well. The killer feature for me though is that it places your torch vape just where you want it if your eyes are age-challenged.
It should be great, but the other two seem like great choices as well. Betcha the GooRoo will cool things right down.
Also, the CL is fantastic, and it too hits far harder than you think it should. Never had flavor this good, high is really very powerful. It's a full-strength ball vape in a little wooden heat shield.
Enjoy that Anvil/Halley combo and let us hear how it turns out! Or show us, better still!

My final Vapexhale order arrived. The precision hydrabomb is like the smoothest thing I've ever hit. It's like vaping a feather wrapped gently in a cloud floating on a puff of air. It supposedly has a wobble (I thought they meant that the joint was too large, but maybe they meant the base was not flat?) Anyhow, I can't really find the wobble.
They also sent a Calyx freebie and a Helio freebie! The Calyx has a pronounced wobble, but I use them on a base or Hydrobrick, so they kinda float and don't need to sit flat.
I also got one of the Connect adapters because why not and a Crown Hydratree. The Hydratree is much smaller than I thought, and it looks super smooth. Gonna try that one next!

I mistakenly presumed the mouthpiece chip (a gnarly little angle like a missing tooth) would be sanded smooth or something so that's an added wrinkle. It looks like it should be filled more than filed/sanded. It's also barely outside of where your lips would touch the flared mouthpiece so I'm wondering if an approach like this is in order:

I have weak lungs so the bigger pieces are sometimes too much work for me.
im also interested in Recyclers but not sure if they normally require more lung function to get “recycling“ good

I've never seen an injector bowl that is 10 mm, I think that would be too small, and restrict the airflow, and yes there is such thing as a piece that is too small, 14 mm pieces don't have to be big at all, you can still get a small piece... A recycler requires a more constant faster pull for proper function typically along with good airflow... I also wouldn't recommend a globe regardless. What is your price range, what are some examples of the pieces that you like??

Yes. I have one I use all the time with injectors. It probably depends on the piece, but mine works fine. It cycles well even with some resistance and the injector is far from your face. I made a bowl and it works fine, just adapt as necessary. I use another that's a 10m14f fitting for my Hot Rod, but an 18f/10m would work if you can place the screen deep enough.
Couch Log injector style. You just need an adapter with a long enough grind to hold the screen down at the bottom (EDIT: Now that I think about it, you could probably use a rimless basket shaped and shoved into the bottom, ala the CL herb chamber). You can use the same 'bowl' in various adapters for convenience.

Injectors are a type of heater, often loaded with balls for turbulence/heat retention, shaped like a glass fitting to fit a glass fitting. It allows you to get the heater close to the herbs. The Couch Log above mates with 14mm female glass. I usually use my Hot Rod (18mm) on top a wooden injector bowl or 14mm glass fitting, just as a counterexample of use.
