SEARCH for the treasure...
What a day, what a day. I landed a Timberhead Pid/IH in Ed’s MAW raffle. Woot Woot. I’m definitely going to have to figure out how to rock my CH gear with it. I’m pretty sure I just need a 710Coils 20mm coil.

To top it all off my CH BF order showed up and things are looking up. The two handles I got really go well with my first and CH even manage to get me a two tone like I was hoping for. What a nice set. On top of all the hustle and bustle of the sale they caught my FOMO handle order and combined it with my BF order and then credited me one of the shipping charges! 👏 Boy these handle are going to look good with that Timberhead PID.

That’s a SWEET setup! My two additional coco handles should be here in a few days, so I’ll have “matchie match”, like you.

How do you grasp your baller with NO additional handle, doesn’t it get hot?

Just purdy! I have a B1 on order. Now getting incredible clouds capped at 737 with a WeedEater.

I have the proper ti cap coming also. And a PAX scoop.

Ship those who are anxious or have no Flower Pot yet. I am having way too much fun testing with what I have.

I’ve enjoyed it like this. I have a few handles and have opted to go with out on the B-1. The thick area where the coil couples with the cord stays very cool. Even most of the shaft of the coil stay cool enough to touch. It just feels elegant. Like a small candle lighting the bowl. Enjoy your new handles. I’d love to see how your set ends up looking.

Speaking of handles. I’d really like a new one. I’ve been after iDB for one but his recent offerings have him slammed. I’d love if @Ed's TnT would also do some matching Cocobolo coil handles! Qaroma is selling them for a reasonable price but shipping to the US is a bit crazy. Anyhow, those seem to be my options.

I started reading your post and immediately thought of iDB, he really makes some gorgeous stuff doesn't he? I purposely didn't order a handle so I'd have a reason to get an iDB set in the future. I can't imagine Ed is far away from making something either, his cocobolo handles look great (I have 2 on order).

I was so disappointed to see the shipping costs of Qaroma which turned out to be higher than anyone else (to Canada at least). That helped push me to the baller when I compared costs.

Got my b2 last Friday.WOW. Any where from 550 to 700 degrees, depending what I'm after, flavor or hammered. 700 degrees, enough to cover the screen and just RIP is devastating. Got the upliner too, but the post for the bowl is to short for the handle to screw in, and for it to be air tight. Contacted CH so hopefully will be sorted. I love this thing.

Had some thoughts.

Filled the bowl, took the first hit. Top was covered with charred herb.
I thought "If I could excavate the top off, I would have a fresh start again.

SO since I have been doing the .07g in one hit, I put one in a clean bowl and blew through it.
Added another .07g
and another.

Then stirred, got about 1/4 of a hit. it was spent.

Weedeater, 775*f, no cap.

I've had the WE for a couple years and generally got about a week before my shovelhead bowl screen needed a hot ISO bath. Got the B1 a month ago and have yet to clean the bowl screen. Anyone else notice this or am I trippin?

Got playing around today with old CH screen hacks that never really worked well for me. Mostly because they required to high of temperatures to get ideal results I was looking for.

I am using the B-1 at 575 for all three variations I am about to share. I got similar and satisfying results from all three. They have more restrictionbut I find with that you get denser vapor.

This is a tried an true method of using a 18mm basket screen placed on top of the adjustable post. Big clouds and very even roasting at a lovely 575 degrees

One of my BF pick ups was a female 14mm post. The 14mm male glass adapter goes so far up into the bowl I can put a 14mm basket screen on the adapter. Crazy micro dosing, very efficient, and thick vapor for such a small load. It reminds me of the Arizer EQ with DDaves microdosing adapters.

This one was a bit gimmicky but worked really well. I flipped the 14mm female post in the bowl and pressure fit a S&B dosing capsule fairly effortlessly. The 14mm made a nice seal.

I wish I could figure out a way to use a Herbirizer/terp torch style bowl. Maybe this will inspire some new BLack Friday FlowerPot owners. Anyhow, the B-1 continues to impress me in ways that previous FlowerPots haven’t been able to.

The B-2 or B-1 for flower only. Who is better in flavor?

From this link:

The Baller Collection (new) - utilizing the latest technology in cannabis vaporization. These heads are designed to be filled with balls, this enhances vapor production and allows for further customization of the Flowerpot sytytem.

B-2: Our most powerful and hardest hitting head (Flower & Concentrates)

B-1: Our fastest and airiest head (Flower only)

Took me all of 5 seconds.

As to flavour, that depends on too many factors. Are you planning on using concentrates?

I received a shipping notification for my Black Friday order yesterday, woohoo! Delivery is scheduled for Monday and my extra fees have already been paid. $17.85 "processing fee" plus GST. Compared to USPS/Canada Post with their $10 handling fee and slighty cheaper shipping, I paid $11~ CAD more for DHL. I'll take that to cut at least 2 weeks off my transit time.

CH was telling me that 40% of the Black Friday orders were placed in the first hour of the sale. I placed mine 30 minutes into the sale so I'd expect it'll take them at least another week to get all the orders out.

Got my B-1 top, 2x Ed's handles, and new cap in. The handles were well worth it and I like what they add. I moved the rubies from my B-2 to B-1, and it rattles like crazy. I never had rattle on my VROD or B-2, but the B-1 head using the same screen diffuser from the B-2 just rattles. I took all of the rubies on and seated it thinking maybe I stuffed too many in and it couldn't seal, but it still did.

I recall somewhere about spreading the coils a little, but I've never had to do that for my other heads and my concern is spreading them to fit this and then they fit the other configurations poorly. I tried to figure out where the play was coming from and couldn't, so I said the hell with it and it's warming up now. Is spreading the coils the solution here? I don't want to, but if it fixes it.

Also ordered a new titanium screen thinking I'd need one for the B-1, and my shovelhead screen needed to probably be replaced. Was nice to see the B-1 come with one, so now I can use the other one in the shovelhead. C'mon heat up! I wanna try new parts!

Hey nice job on these! Im interested in the 18mm basket screen….. do you just take the standard screen out, and that basket slides right in? if it goes on the post…I didnt see the post sticking out the bottom of your first photo. Does it still mate with 18mm glass?

I ordered a few of these awhile back at his suggestion and use them sometimes. They can be positioned so that the basket sits down inside of the 14/18mm post (they fit both), or the rim of the basket can be sit on the top edge of the post so that it sits up outside of the post. You can then put the shovelhead screen on top of that, reducing the depth of the bowl if you wanted to microdose or use lower temperatures, or even just get the material closer to the heat source.

I was confused at first, then I received them and understood.

Sorry to hear @delta hotel. Mine was slight tweaks around the coil. I too was terrified of doing this as have previously junked a coil trying to spread for the elv8tr.
This was my concern. I kept spreading and checking. I eliminated all the wobble and rattle, but I feel like I spread it a whole lot, but it still fits the VROD too, I was checking both between each spread. If you shake it, it doesn't rattle anymore, it's got a little wiggle if you touch it where my VROD was on tight once it was screwed down and didn't move at all. I think I can live with it. I may end up spreading them a TOUCH more if it really bothers me.

It's heating up again. I used it once with the rattle because I couldn't wait. I'll let you know shortly how it worked out!

The. Coils will bend, no problem. Use a screwdriver or covered pliers to spread them. It will spring a little when you screw it together. This is fine.
