I KNOW! I still have Tweed for 3 months, and am very curious about this new Main St business! My issue with Tweed is that they gamma irradiate many strains (but at least disclose) and now with Main St, Bedrocan Irradiates ALL their strains.
I dunno man, i've seen it posted elsewhere as well that those super high thc % strains aren't really all that great. I've had them all too, including all the ones you posted, and they were very nice, but i'm not sure if I agree with 30%+....same with the high THC strains Tilray used to sell.
I have been with Tweed for about 2.5 years and check the website so often and read everything about he strains over and over I probably know what they offer better than they do. In terms of the gamma irradiation I am 100% when I say it is only 20%-30% at the most of their strains. Some strains like Argyle(Nordle) they always irradiate because they try to have a few irradiated offerings for their immuno-compromised customers who can only use irradiated strains. That's why some LPs irradiate all their strains because there is actually a market for or.
Tweed again really only irradiates 20%-30% of their strains at any one time based in shop listings. Sometimes the shop has very little in it so the percentages can change in those circumstances. But most of their higher end and popular strains are rarely irradiated, again in my 2.5 years of being with them, I have one of the best perspectives really being with them so long. I am also a very objective onlooker, I haven't met a person other than over the internet that is as or more objective than me when it comes to reasoning and equitable fairness.

That brings me to my second point. The 30% strains which Tweed has only ever had 2 of, the rest have been 27-29 and lower lately. One thing I can say is that over the 2.5 years they came from producing 18% as their top THC strain available, to steady increases of 20%, 22%, 24%, 27%, 29% and he eventual highest ever 31.0% on a batch of sunset.
This progression is an indication that they have been refining their phenotype selection and choice of genetics which is in some cases influenced by the partnership they have like with DNA genetics (who personally help them select the best phenotype to work with) and Leafs by Snoop products that had a few kinks in he beginning but it much more solid now. The 23% sunset from recent is exceptional. It's all I want. And the previous batch of 31% I couldn't even imagine as this is already strong.
So back to my point is that I think Tweed, as I have been with a few LPs and have friends with others as well, compared to others with their THC testing is on the more accurate side. The reason is I am also with Aurora and have been with them from the beginning. They were putting out all these strains with really high THC numbers and some people were giving good reviews so I joined up. When it came to direct contact comparisons between say a 20% Tweed Indica to a 20% Aurora Indica the Tweed strain would fee substantially stronger. It would make the Aurora strain feel more like a 14%.
I definitely agree that some LPs inflate the THC numbers but it comes down to how they test and the equipment they use. For example Aurora which used to send their samples out for external testing from a few months ago to the time of the 28-32% THC strains like Warwick. Now they have all new in house testing equipment and everything is like 10% lower in average.
I feel like Tweed has always been using that equipment. Never had a question about their claimed potencies. Only once for a strain called Balmoral 26 and it just didn't seem like 26% but that could just be the combination of cannabiboids
