14 blinks and it rips 👌👌 you just have to know if you want a hybrid results you should use less time in a deeper position or introduce it a lot in the last 4 blinks

I did a review of the XL! It is in Spanish, but this time I added English subtitles, I hope they are acceptable…or not horrible :lol: and it could help some people

Is there a specific temp for this 14 blink method? I got my wand yesterday, had 2 whispy hits, then combusted the rest of my bowl. Went from 0 to too much right quick. Also, half thinking of cutting up a piece of cork or something so I know I am not putting it too far inside the wand because I feel like I was heating up the entire head, which is probably why I combusted.

Yes, the Convector XL was designed to be compatible with the wand and they work amazingly well together! Check out the video below for reference.

The name of the game is to heat the heater plates inside of the Camo Cap. You will see three little dots on the outside of the cap. These are three weld marks giving you a visual as to where the final heater plate is inside of the cap. We only want to apply heat to the area above these 3 dots towards the air intake holes. We want to avoid applying heat below the three dots until comfortable with heating techniques.

Heating the Convector XL with the Wand:

-When heating with the wand make sure the batteries are fully charged. You only want to heat the heater plates inside the cap, not the whole chamber. Turn the wand on, insert the CXL to the depth of where it engages the wand coil and starts blinking yellow, NOT ANY DEEPER! Start with heating the CXL Camo cap for 12 blinks in the wand and then inhale. If you want to do another heat cycle with the same bowl/material, heat it for less time apprx. 7-9 blinks. Start here and adjust timing and length of heating to your preference.
Pro tip: Once you're familiar with timing etc, you can insert the Convector XL all the way into the coil for the final 1-2 blinks for an extra heat boost.

-Pay attention to the wand battery life when using the wand. The lower the battery level the less power it will output and will require longer heating times.

-Never pack the Convector chamber tight! We want the hot air to weave through the flower easily and extract the goodies.

-Medium grind is recommend. Fine grind and whole flower buds will work too but require a bit more attention. You can also do concentrate/extracts/kief top ups or sandwiches.

-If you want to microdose, make sure there's enough material to cover the whole chamber screen and give the material a slight tamp with your finger/or tool of your liking to keep the material in place against the screen.

-We recommend removing the ceramic cooling tube for maximum airflow when using the CXL with a water piece. You can also apply slightly longer heat times when using a water piece.

@zeebudz thank you!

@Ride1226 looks like you need to introduce the convector a little more.
Camouflet already gave you good tips. But I would use a cork to use the same heaight everytime you use it. You have to keep on mind that, if you do back to back heat ups, the matrix can be get cool between heats up but the tip can get hotter and hotter. It is an important factor.

I received the Camouflet XL And am enjoying it mostly with the Wand After a couple of sessions With the torch.
The Wand sessions were set at 395 F. heat time about 8 or 9 seconds on First heatup then5seconds On 2nd and third heatup if needed to get more Vapor. . I’m loving the XL For Lightning fast heatuup and Vapor production .Cheers To Camouflet Also for The box and torch lighter . The Titanium Heats up quickly and cools down quickly …

The wand functions on a timer, it's not sensor based and does not provide a temperature read out of the object/surface being heated. The temperature display is only relevant when using the wand dabbing accessories. When heating the Convector XL counting the blinks/flashes the wand emits will give you a better point of reference. As you're inserting the Convector XL into the wand, once it starts blinking yellow and engaging the wand don't insert it any deeper. Freshly charged batteries, from a cold start and a fresh bowl, start with 12x blinks and assess your preference from there.

Yes, a piece of cork would work well for this purpose. Make sure to cut it down to the correct size.

Feel like I’m winnin’ when I’m losin’ again
Until I got Bambox I had used XL exclusively on a WPA, it’s wide open and rips a bong up milky. An XL on wpa and Inductor are the futuristic way to do a bong rip.

Since getting Bambox I have been using it native and it’s a totally new experience. Packs even more of a punch, and the quad bore ceramic is plenty cool. Definitely topping my day trip/weekend moto camping list at the moment…
