@florduh Im sure they'll get around to putting up a accessories or maintenance package but contacting them directly seems like the best idea.
I guess my worry was they'd say no in case they'd want to keep all their inventory at a fairly equal number so that they can make sure to have parts for full sets instead of possibly running into a problem similar to when they ran out of Zirconia housing.

From their reddit in regards to the mod. Since having an update mailing list for pre-orders is too much work.
"The robotics engineer that joined our team is working hard on it, he ended up changing a lot of things for the better, so that added a month delay. The hardware has been done but this engineer used to program rockets for Lockheed Martin and wanted to change a lot of stuff in the firmware, so I let him. He believes that he can make our tc far more accurate than even dna! He is very confident this will be done and shipping before Thanksgiving. My work on the mod is done and Dan(the new VP of engineering at AVS) is taking it to the finish line while I focus on everything else."
Before Thanksgiving? What the hell are these people vaping? It's just a slap in the face to the people that have been waiting forever for this thing. Their timelines are consistently pulled from their asses.
Calling 2021 at least one more time because this is just too funny at this point.

@JCat Did this end up fitting for you? Im looking for a Bubbler that is in stock@PlanetVape has gotten back to me on this recycler, and indicated that the inner diameter is 20mm
So I've ordered one to try out (along with an Evic VTwo Mini ... I like these 1x18650 Joyetech mods ... they perform admirably with the M22 temp control w/ Arctic Fox, and are light enough that hanging off your bottomless banger isn't an issue)
On another note, I ordered a DTv4 Bottomless Banger from The Herb Cafe, and although the BB itself didn't fit on the M22 (it did upside down but not right side up), the bubble carb cap is a perfect fit for the M22 BB; so that's goodThe experience w/ the M22 with a directional carb cap is SO much better!!!!

Yesterday, my M22 completely failed. I was using it just as I had many times before in TCR (138), set max watts to 50, and max temp to 500F. I am ocd about thoroughly cleaning after each use with distilled water and iso and certainly do not overload as I microdose concentrates (don’t want to mess up my tolerance).
In any case, as the the ESCC was heating, I heard a crack and immediately turned the mod off thinking maybe a battery burst. I let it cool down at a safe distance just in case. After ten minutes elapsed without a subsequent explosion, I removed and inspected the batteries. They were fine and intact.
I then disconnected the atomizer from the mod. I removed the ESCC crucible, which looked fine. Then I noticed that the white base had browned and cracked. This part was also clean before use so I don’t understand how it would have charred if nothing spilled. The fact that the material broke is very disconcerting as I am a low temp dabber. Definitely brings durability to question.
Luckily I ordered a non-TC ESCC as a backup and had a spare base. After cleaning the TC-ESCC and installing new gold plated connectors as further precaution, I reattached the atomizer to the mod. First, it read a really high resistance (1.2) and then it couldn’t read the atomizer at all. I screwed the atomizer into a different mod and again the “No atomizer found” error message appeared.
I disassembled everything. The connectors looked properly installed and fine, the ESCC legs were clean, no residue. I reassembled and ensured a solid fit. Still, no luck. Had the atomizer shorted and if so, how? And how do I go about fixing it without having to spend another $150 for a new atomizer that may only last me 2 months of strictly weekend use like this one?

By "base," you mean the ceramic housing? A number of redditors have reported problems with the housing.
Did you completely disassemble the atomizer - remove the contact screw on the bottom and pop out the gold L-shaped piece? To isolate the issue, you can try: each ESCC without the housing; the atomizer with a coil; the atomizer on a different mod. Might give you some ideas. Good luck!
I'd reach out to AVS at once... Sounds like a possible defective zirconia cup with possible collateral damage. Do this before you go any further.

Soon after emailing AVS, I decided to troubleshoot some more. It seems that the culprit for the inconsistent and high resistance readings was the spring clips. Some were looser than others so I went through a bunch until I found the ones that gave a cold ohm reading in the range of .5-1.1. The rest I pulled aside. Not sure what I’ll do with them, but I’m glad the rda is working once again.I'd reach out to AVS at once... Sounds like a possible defective zirconia cup with possible collateral damage. Being in the UK I brought mine from recommend vapes. The deal was pay for a TC, get an OOS ESCC now and a TC ESCC later once the new batch comes in. Seems like a good deal.
I use 32w with the OOS in wattage mode. If I use 40W I melt my lungs and my face. The heat up is instant at 40w. Behaves like no other bucket I have ever tried, the taste is 2nd level. At 32w there is some heat up, but your gotta treat this thing with respect. To start with I had many coughing fits and aching lungs.
The whole M22 is quality. You feel where your money is going. I have not dabbed off anything since.
The springs clips are a pain in the arse. I got a reasonable fit after my 3rd attempt. Lucky I brought extra. I think it's something your get better at.

Good to see a fellow UK member getting hold of the M22, I got a O.G version a while back from a US member and I just paid for the shipping. Can't grumble at that at all, cost me £25! I used that and that alone for 8 or more months even tho it was a thinner cup and liable to crumble/crack at any point, it served me very well and is still useable before like you @oddjobold i opted for the wattage SiC ESCC.
With the original I ran it at 20w and with a brief heat up it did really well, favour is paramount for me I want that at the expense of clouds but who doesn't want it all. So with the wattage model, as advised by Matt at RVS I upped it to 25w and kept it at that. Having seen your around the 30w mark I might give that a try but I don't wanna loose those terps, this thing is built for flavour!
Agree the clips are a pain, the OG clips get spent rather quickly I found, I was down to my last set before I got the wattage ESCC from Matt. New ones should last ages if set right. My mod box is a basic kangertech with goes up in 5w increments only, so it's 30 or 35w for me, maxes out at 40w.

I dropped my Mod and M22. It shot out of my hands as they were slippery. My TC Escc broke. Few extra scratches but everything else was okay. Recommend vapes sorted me out with a replacement. Gutted though, expensive mistake. Gone back to the DTv4 for a while. I am a little shy to use the M22.
Now one thing I don't like about the M22 ESCC. Even with homemade rosin everything vaporises. There is very little reclaim left. This may sound like a good thing but with the DTv4 I can leave all the nasties behind. With the M22 I don't get the chance.
This was making my chest bad.
More testing needs to be done.

So this thread has devolved into new members spamming referral links? Seems par for the course with this company. Nothing shipped either and now it's end of Feb. Few weeks it will be end of March.
As I posted before, I cancelled my pre-order bundle months ago when it was obvious these guys were goons. Their reddit is just a marketing forum controlled by them, and sadly they have most of those people duped. The "president" of AVS seems to post most of his updates via short social media videos that then spread elsewhere; it's a joke all around. Tons of complaints about not being able to reach them for weeks and the unprofessional updates, but that stuff just gets drowned out in their glorified marketing forum.
But don't worry. A few people are getting "beta" mods they waited almost 2 years for that don't have USB-C > C charging and who knows what else is wrong with them. Their mod was cool when it was announced, but is already outclassed. Another company will have energized crucilbes worked out better before they do. Now with moving manufacturing to the US, they can use this new excuse to take their sweet time yet again. They just keep updating the shipping date on the site each month.
The price for their whole kit is a joke anyway, and this stuff is very novel and fragile on top of it. $500 is better spent on a NewVape product or something if you want a desktop experience. I see way too many people breaking the SiC crucibles and bubblers.
Thankfully we have actual forums like this to have open discussion where the mods aren't associated entities with conflicts of interest

Seems like you didn't have the temp dialed in right then ... I get amazing clouds from my TC crucible using AF and no burning at all; residue cleans away beautifully.
I have to agree. My personal m22 delivers very accurate and consistent temperature control - unlike anything else I own/tried. 10 weeks of daily use with nothing more than swabbing - no cup reseating, no iso soaks - on one set of clips, is what I've been getting.
Some upgrades are currently in the pipe. New-style zirc, v2 escc, and beta mods. The zirc alone is a huge improvement - I've been testing a prototype, and the difference in use/function is considerable. Cleaner deck, easier escc installation, more stable resistance, etc. These might already be in-house at AVS and if so, should be available by request for free with any order, or for $5 (shipping) as a standalone order.
I'm expecting both v2 escc and mod, early next week, for some testing. Results to be posted on r/AdvancedVapeSupply and here.
Nay sayers should remember - AVS is very small, until very recently there was Brent, a customer support guy, and a shipping guy - and escc is entirely new technology solely and completely invented by Brent, engineered to a working product solely and completely by Brent, and the same applies to the deck and glass and mod. Recent additions to the team has resulted in big improvements to the mod.
Overall, I'm of the opinion they're doing pretty well considering their small size and the fact they're not recycling tech from 5+ years ago that never worked as claimed, like all their competition is doing. Whiich also means - ya gets what ya pays for.

Also still on board. Using beat-up, replated ESCCs in power mode. Planning to buy the v2 and mod ASAP. At this point, they just copy and paste the next month into their availability estimate.
Loose wiggly escc is usually due to clips that were 'over prepared' - i.e. stretched a bit too much. Try stretching the side of the clips closest to the edge of the deck only. You want the clips to fit the legs as snugly as possible without clip crush. It takes a lil practice, but isn't difficult. The other thing is be gentle when swabbing. You don't need elbow grease or determined scrubbing, and doing either causes the escc to rock which loosens the clips. If you *do* need to scrub etc, your temps are too high or you need better pulsing technique. Scorching is user error 99% of the time - improper set up or technique.

Still, in the product descriptions on the AVS web site, it does look like they just replaced "January" with "February" after "will ship around the end of." Wouldn't be too surprised if "March" appears next, and so on...
Fwiw, at least some v2 escc and some of the chinese-made mods are arriving this week and v2 zirc is in-house today. End of March is when I myself will begin to look for American-made versions of all three pieces. I'm actually rather surprised by how fast the change to USA mfg is taking place.
