Looks like we got a new version of the Extreme-Q. Everything looks pretty similar except they added a cap to the bag to seal in vapor. I imagine heat up times will be much faster and will see about the fill times/fan speeds.

Bought the previous version a few months ago, as it was so cheap. Amazing how long it has been on the market. Look forward to reviews, and if there some new heater tech. Looks like some of the new accessories might work on the old model.

It's really cool that Arizer gives this style vape another go, I wonder if this is an upgrade for the EQ just like the Volcano Hybrid is for the classic...

If this can perform well in today's standards (well at least, in my standards, where I can't fit the EQ and the Volcano Classic), then I might consider this for a party vape.
The price seems fair.

Very curious whether the heating element got any significant changes or if it's still just the good ol' ceramic rod.

Filtered intake does sound interesting, but unless the heater's gotten some kind of upgrade I'll probably just sit this one out. I've been more interested in injectors and logs recently anyway.

Gotta say though, the new design looks pretty damn sleek. I like that they made the base a uniform shape rather than making most of the base flat with that one protrusion where the screen and buttons are. I don't think I would've ever called the OG unit "ugly", moreso that the old unit looked like a 90s appliance while the xq2 looks like a modern appliance.

I have always wanted to try a balloon vape, just not heard the best reports on flavor...I also agree it sure does look better now.

Bag vapes are very unique as the first hit and the last hit pretty much taste the same.
I wouldn’t say the flavor is as rich as a one hitter off a super vape, but you don’t have that linear degradation that all other flower vapes get. For session style vaping It’s actually way underrated IMO. Although it’s a little difficult to consider a plastic bag as the pinnacle of health, and I totally understand that.

Can’t argue with anyone trying something new, but I agree with invertedisdead. Never liked the bags, and sold my Volcano. While it seemed like a good idea for a leisure, slow session, I didn’t like the stale taste after awhile. Also a good solution for pass around party... but I won’t be sharing any devices and mouthpieces anymore, if I have a guest, I’ll give them a separate device. I bought the old EQ, just to try a hose system, and it was very inexpensive, haven’t bothered with the bags, since I already know it’s not my preference.

the bags hit me pretty hard on my EQ (on fan speed 1). Also it has great vape flavour if you use the glass balloon whip (with glass filter) or the glass-filtered elbow with the sillicon whip has great flavour too. I am looking forward to the reviews of the XQ2.
