I really like Planetvape.ca they are a Canadian company but I have had no problem gettinganything from then. I really like their PVHES stems. They also send you the O-ring for a nice seal for free with a stem and have stem caps, gongs, screens, power adapters. Everything you need. Plus they send you a bag is chips the Lays Ketchup flavor is amazing. I always request it.

Not to mention their customer service via email is very prompt and really nice.

hello fine folks of FC over here in this thread..

long time reader, first time poster (as you always here)

just ordered my first solo... should be delivered monday.

very excited to begin this journey on another side of the vaporsphere...

vape on brothas :ko:

Thanks for the patience, ordering from PlanetVapor:
*SmokeBuddy
*SOLO travel caps
*15 ultra fine screens
*Solo Hightemp O-rings
* Couple of JyARz
**Might by glass stems later, maybe the stock stems will be nice enough!!**

Ordering from Puffitup:
*SOLO & PA for $190 (verrry nice!)
*Vape case

Thats it, ready to order unless someone has another suggestion in the next hour! I was really considering the Pinnacle because of stealth, but after reading so many reviews about melting mouth pieces and people actually using the Solo for daily hitter...how can I resist? Thank you FC community, everyone here has helped so much without stupid flaming, awesome advice!!
PS: a little medicated right now...

which screens do you guys prefer from planetvape? Coarse?

Coarse. My 1st exp with coarse was "yeurk", i swallow kief when i suck my herb into the stem. I used ultra fine for a while, but the problem is you need to iso wash them frequently. They clog up quicker than coarse and the airflow is handicaped. Lazyness had me switch to coarse; i just suck softly when loading my stem.

What are the recommended accessories (stems/batteries/powercords/screens?)
*SOLO travel caps

I like the travel tubes as well. Obviously they won't work with the bent stems, but I use straight stems and the travel tube protects them and makes it a lot easier to carry them around. To me the cap is a critical accessory as well, but I just use the battery caps that come with the MFLB. At the end of a session I (carefully) put the cap over the bowl and stick the whole thing in the travel tube. Then it's all sealed up, ready for transport, no spill or smell.

I also put a little "stuffing" (tissue, bubble wrap, etc...) in the open end or cap of the travel tube once I put my stem in there. It keeps the stem from rattling around in the tube.

So the Solo has nothing similar to the ELB's that the cloud has? I have to go back to using screens like high school? I was not aware of this.

No ELB type parts… with the Solo you load the bottom of the glass stems. You don't NEED screens (there are 4 small holes) however if you grind your stuff up well it's easy to get some in your mouth so a screen is preferred.

My Solo recently suffered some water damage, and after drying it out in rice for a few days it is still not heating. Everything else on the unit seems to be working fine though. I hold the buttons down and it lights up as normal and the beep still works too. I select my heat setting but then the numbers just never light up because the chamber is not heating. Is my unit done for or could a new battery solve this problem?

I have no idea, asking the manufacturer would be best IMHO. You can test the battery with a multimeter to rule it out though before you buy a new one (if needed)

I AM SOOOO PUMPED! I don't even have the unit yet but if pleases me it shalt be called 'HAN' (SOLO)... so dibs on that name :)

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
What I like about the Solo thread, if a member has a problem with their unit everyone is so helpful in trying to help solve issues in a positive way. I don't see folks attacking Arizer if they didn't like something about their units, or if they are having issues with the new model Solo and needed to send it back.

It's like Christmas when you get a new vape, how disappointing when something happens and you have to pack it up and send it back, pay for shipping and waiting......You guys take it in stride.

I read some pretty unhappy folks early on. That was in the beginning when Arizer was getting the bugs worked out.

it's nice reading through this thread a lot of positive energy. Thanks for the help and sharing.

I think that is maybe because this vape has been around for a while and we know that arizer is not going to be on here for support. We do make comments about them now and again but we want to fix the issues. It isn't much diff then the PNP thread except that the manufacturer doesn't listen and is involved and then he flames his customers not good business IMO. I for one always try to be respectful but his and engineerings post today or whenever it was saying don't buy my vape was just rude.

Now back to problem solving with the solo which has very little issues so it isn't that hard. With the solo it is more of how do I want to use it and what works best for person A, B or C. Taxi does them all and has pics to prove it.

Anyone have a m1e1 model? I have my temp set at 2 and after a session the bowl is almost burnt. Just recently got it as a warranty replacement too. Just wondering if this is normal for this model

I haven't heard of M1E models in the wild yet. You probably have one of the first of the batch. Can you post a picture of your vaped bud for us to look at?

:peace:
