I got the last $5 one off grass city the other day so they're out of stock. I'm sure they'll restock soon. But you should be able to find one this side of the Atlantic- everyonedoesit perhaps? (they don't, I looked)

Cheers mate...hope they are back in stock...do u know how much should shipping cost?

Anyway...I found this... http://www.smokewire.com/glass-bong-adapter.html with 8.5$ shipping its 15$ which is fine by me...

EDIT: ... it should fit with the wood stem right???...sorry I'm just confused on how can I make this work?

Has anyone changed batteries in a Solo yet? I was just curious if there was a cost effective way that would not be too difficult to get a new battery for my old ceramic Solo. Thanks!

I have; the post is in this thread. I would link you to it but I'm on my mobile.

Thanks for the link! The solo is a great device. A 2.0 revision that got a little smaller, incorporated a flash light(or some other innocent purpose) and a less conspicuous stem that would stay put and not slip out would be sweet!

Edit: after way too much Thermovape T1 testing, I dropped my SS Solo and the glass stem hit the garage floor and shattered. Thank goodness for Ed's stem! My M-105 SS survived just fine thank you. :)

SO people who use the GONG 14mm-18mm
can they connected it to ed's wood stem?

the bottom of the ebay pic looks smaller than the wood scope

Ed's stems will fit snugly in a 14mm joint.
So it will mate with 14mm pieces easily, and 18mm pieces with a 14-18mm reducer.

Hey guys,

I'm brand new to the forum and am currently looking to buy an Arizer Solo and my only concern is the smell. If anyone could provide some insight on that, it would be MUCH appreciated.

Hey man, it has a big conduction component so if you let it sit and toke it upright yeah it can be stinky. Best bet is inverted, use the Solo like a lighter, and remove between hits and it will have alot less smell.

thanks man, yeah i was talking about the smell of the vaping bud. How obvious is it? Say if i were using it in the basement and people were up stairs, would they smell it?

Other people will smell it only when they sit very close to you and you exhale to their direction... Or if they are at next room and have super sniffing abilities...
On the other hand if you vape a lot in that basement and you don't have good air circulation in the room, a trained nose would know that something smells funny down there.

What does that mean?
My friend recently picked up an Arizer Solo a few days ago and everything was going great until he cleaned the glass mouthpiece with water and I guess it wasn't dry enough because it somehow broke the entire device. It just keeps blinking non stop over and over, and the buttons do not work. We tried opening up the case and disconnecting the battery which resulted in the unit powering up alright and being able to adjust the temperature, but the device still does not power off for some reason. Has anyone ever had an issue like this before?

Water and electronics never mate so well...
Always use ISO to clean, rinse with peroxide if you want extra germ killing and cleaningless (rinse off ISO)
And always at the end let air dry or fast hot hair drier...

So back to the solo ... after I sold my rude boy and killed my cloud
I can't wait to have the 14mm to 18mm gong adapter from PV!

I miss water filtration so much...

PV told me to be careful when connection the joints so I'm thinking about putting some coconut oil so it slides in out and easily...coconut oil is so friendly I want to eat it !!!

Did rub my wood stem with coconut oil and results were great!
