Also if i were you after you're done, let it sit in there while it cools, i think it helped with mine a bit.

Is there any good remedies for a loose stem? Like say heat resistant tape... I read a few people suggesting silicon O-rings but I didn't notice any at my hardware store.

Ya I used saran wrap now and it's perfect. I bought a bunch of the battery caps but don't like them because the herb sticks to the inside too much.
You don't need the caps, too much herb sticks to the insides. Just use a small film of cling wrap and wrap it around and then just discard. Otherwise, PV sells the caps if you insist. I have 6 of em i never use for that reason.
The caps are more of a hassle...unless they "work in" after some time, mine are quite difficult to put on. Saran is way easier and on the go you can just toss it. Again, the battery caps will have herb/kif on the insides. If that doesn't bother you, then by all means, but in terms of stealth they can start smelling from it. good luck with whatever you decide dude.

It's all good, just work the stem, wiggle it back and forth. I was so frustrated, I asked Kevin why he sent me a new sized Solo with no new-sized stems for it. But he set me straight and within minutes I was loving the snug fit my stems had with my replacement(M-107).

Question for you guys, regarding your use of the stem caps. Do you load a stem and then travel, as opposed to carrying a small vial of meds and an empty stem? Are you not finishing the stem in a sitting and therefore trying to cap it till next use? I use a small metal pill vial for meds and think 1800yolk's Sharpie idea would be perfect for the stem itself.

i always carry herb separately. the only time where i use the cap is when i'm packing hash bowls, that can last a few sessions. 1 solo stem won't do much for me anyways. hahahah

I got my Solo yesterday, and although I really like it's vapor and taste, it's so hard to draw easy I have to pull a little bit my stem to be able to draw.
The 4 holes in the bottom of the SS bowl are so tiny, did someone try to slightly enlarge them?

I'm going to try and dremmel the 4 holes and just have a big open one with a lip for screens. I read it before from someone who posted here. I'm a follower of good ideas.

I did that once to a 2 hole stem.
It worked well, but shattered as I was smoothing out the edges of the hole.
Just be careful with the dremmelling, and be willing to loose the stem.
Also, make sure to wear eye protection.

The planet vape adapter is different, check out their thread in the retailers section, they posted a diagram of it a few weeks ago.
It has channels cut into it to improve airflow.

Alright Everyone!!!! I got my new Bong!! I didn't get the Nautilus because I went to some local stores first to see what they had and what kind of 420 deals were going on. Well I went into a store and they offered me 40% off on the spot. So I picked up this Blown Glass Goods piece. It is absolutely perfect. 7mm glass, beaker bottom, 17 inches, ice pinches, an 11 arm tree, and a diffused downstem. All amazing quality. I also picked up a j-hook locally as well, so all I have left is my pre-cooler. Well here are some pics and a solo milk video.

Then here is an extra vid of my gf trying to attempt lol. She hit it way to hard and didn't move the stem in the right spot, but good attempt none the less.
