^^^^ Real O-rings are made of neoprene. I don't know if I would like neoprene near a heating element.
I surf, so I'm very used to neoprene wetsuits, and even hot water changes neoprene structure, so I have second thoughts about neoprene O-ring, unless you can find some silicone ones, I'm going to stay with my guetto homemade ring

^^^^ I tried a real O-ring once, without knowing they were made of neoprene, I'm still alive and vaping , but the real deal breaker for me about neoprene O-rings, is that, the ones I found were so hard and restrain even more the airflow, and trying to slide down the stem into the heating chamber was really a pain in the ass. With the silicone ring is as soft and smooth as it can get.

Can someone explain me how do you post photos without a link???

1. You need a real internet URL for your image (upload to imageshack etc)
2. Press the small box in the reply screen with the Tree (left of the movie film type icon).
3. Paste the image URL in that box

That's it

I use Imgur.com to upload pics then you can click on it, and get a list of link url's I choose
Direct Link (email & IM) copy that link, and click the little tree (photo icon) in the message box, and paste it in.

@hogleg If I were you i will check what material is your O-ring. I hope it's not neoprene. There's a substantial change of high temperature in between neoprene and silicone.

I like to start at 3, it gives me good tasty kind of invisible vapor.
then go through the whole temp scale, every 2 hits change 1 temperature.
but, I always like to run it 1 point above the number.
If you set it at 5, when you start drawing, your temperature will drop after a few seconds to 3 or 4.
A 7 would give you 6 or 5 temperature real setting. I think that's my best way to vape with the Solo

I stay at 4 until the bowl stops producing, then I go up to 5, after that it just tastes toasted, so I dump and reload. I have a nice collection of toasty brown ABV piling up. The most even vaped ABV I have ever had. I LOVE the SOLO!!

Frikkin nice bong! But you know you are not getting much diffusion that way...more + smaller bubbles = more filtering. There is a thread called "Cheap quality bubbler" here (link).

I used to be a #2 man...on the Solo. #2 all the way..no higher. Then after a while I did #2 until I saw no vapor - then finish on #7, for double the hits.

Now - I just do #3 to #5...depending how I feel

i used this on occasions, holds a tube and some little nugs perfectly.

That is a good idea! I went to the store and just looked for random stuff, and found that the king size sharpies are the perfect size:

There is a pinch of cotton in the top and bottom of the tube, so it doesn't rattle inside or anything. I might put a thin layer of something on the inside, but as long as i'm not throwing or dropping the sharpie i should be ok..

Also, I can't seem to find a good solution for a cap for my stem! Where did you guys get yours? Thanks!

The caps are the MFLB battery caps. They are good but you can just use a bit of cling film (saran wrap) to cover the stems effectively.

I just received my M107 and I can't get these stems to fit in for the life of me. Whats the best way to work these things in? How long did it take?

Dang not a mflb owner.. I'll keep my eyes out for something, maybe a chapstick cap that is the right size or something, i'll post if i find something. Also if anybody wants a tutorial on the sharpie thing lemme know, i'll probably be doing it again because i used pliers on part of it because i didn't know it necessarily unscrewed, so yea

i got mine 2 days ago. It took me at least 10 minutes of gently pushing the stem into the solo while on the highest heat. Good luck and be patient!
