I was wondering of someone with more understanding of power transformers etc could help me out with some general info so that I can get myself a new charger.
I have the ac adapter, which uses a detachable power cord so I just threw it away and grabbed one from my big-box-o-cables.
Since the regular charger has its outlet prongs built in, ive been using an adapter so that it will fit on an Australian outlet.
Basically, I want to just go out to an electronics shop and get another adapter so I can do away with that damn adapter...
I figure I need to match the output voltage (which I can't remember right now since I don't have the charger in front of me), but what about the amps?
I'm pretty sure regular charger is 1000 mah, does it matter is I get one that has more? Less?
If I go higher, can I blow out some of the circuitry or anything?
Or overcharge the battery or something?
If I go lower, could it undercharge the battery?
Lowering capacity or battery life or something?
I know with log vapes the amps don't tend to matter as long as the voltage is right, an the amps exceed a minimum level, but there's alot less electronics going on in a log vape...
EDIT:
To any Aussie solo owners, have you picked up a charger from dick smith, or JB Hifi or something?
