Arizer Solo

Either one works. I have both Solo and Solo II. Even with the design changes, I can't say that one works better than the other. I do believe the Solo II will stand up to dropping it better. The base does not crack like the original. Solo II heats up faster, but sometimes the countdown and smiley face on Solo II bugs me.;)
but solo 2 has 3400mAh and solo 1 has 2200mAh it is quite alot ... ;)

You are playing da battery game?

Don’t U think ARISER will just use what the masses will buy?

The internet is not a perfect source of information?

In CANADA they think differently from the Rest of the people on this planet!

This is not a tribe able issue?
Marketing has the power not science?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$ runs the planet?
LOGIC?

The white controller is awesome on the NLS model! (Only 4 some)

The NLE hasn't shown up on the Arizer website for some time now, so I guess it's out of production. The last sale I saw it advertised on was quite a while ago, and it was combined with a white charging stand. They should re-introduce it. The next big sale we get here will probably be Canada Day long weekend and maybe they'll have another "buy a Solo and get a free Air" or similar promotion.

I don't believe that there are actual 'Presets' available on the Solo II
Am I wrong? :hmm:

It depends......doesn't it always?

There is a single preset, the last value you (or for the initial use, the factory) used. You can use that one (like most of us do) or dial it up or down. A small point, but it doesn't always start at the bottom for instance.

In practice I think one of the seven steps in Solo I, which are 'only' 9 degrees F apart, works just fine unless you change your technique, in which case you have to change things in either case?

Kick back and enjoy Solo for what it is, as @ataxian suggests. You won't be disappointed.

Have have a Solo II, but would like be able to recommend the much cheaper
Solo,
to acquaintances but,
I can't agree with Arizers settings! :nope:
It wouldn't have taken much for Arizer to have made these temps user adjustable,
simple software upgrade?
Especially since they totally wasted 3 settings, with Their, temp choices, to my way of thinking?
Actually, i know it will be of little consequence, but I going to get in touch with Arizer
about the possibility of asking for reprogramming for seven of your own custom temp selections,
when ordering a Solo from them? Maybe they could offer Custom Presets for 'refurbs' :bang:
For a nominal fee! :2c:

While I get what you're saying, I think they picked a range that suits nearly all owners. And for sure I don't agree with "simple software upgrade". Not only is there no such thing if you want it reliable (lots of testing needed) but how do you suggest an owner could know the changes made with no display?

It's a major upgrade, both hardware and software, I think. Costing lots of money, making the old, established model a bargain.

Your call, of course, but IMO you can recommend Solo I. Many, many of us have and I don't recall a single guy (or gal) posting that they regretted doing so. Lots of 'my friend really likes his', but nobody saying 'he thinks it's lame'?

:peace: disagree all you want, but in today's electronic market environment, a device which utilizes
Only 'preset' selections, requires that these selections be user reprogrammable, :o
 It's a given!
Check Your auto's radio for instance, right back to the Fifties. :myday:

It only costs pennies for a led display! :2c:
I'm probably describing the 'next generation Solo!
By the way, I suppose a lot folks use 122F for their baking their flower, not even Disconbobubulated Yet?
Also 401F? Right in BenZene territory, could blur peoples judgement?
And 410F should have been more like 428F. :zombie:

anyhow, the Solo II does a Great job, for Me, @ a much higher price! :sherlock:
