Filled it with orange bellini tea and its fucking amazing. I highly recommend it. Thank you all so much for your wonderful advice. I have read most of the posts here and on other forums on FC. OF you are a monster with those replies.
Hey, thanks for the good word. Glad you broke the code and got on board. Very glad to have had a part in that with useful and timely info. Thanks too for that mention.
Welcome to the forum, gotta love a guy that calls 'em like he sees 'em. Hoping to read more from you, best regards.
I love this review! Makes me so stoked to get mine! Pre-ordered from PuffItUp so I have more time to wait though
Yup, our new found bud doesn't leave much room for guessing how he feels. I've ordered a bunch of stuff from PV (including a couple Solos) and have always been impressed with their speed and service, however my latest buy (new model to test) was my second from PIU (maybe 3rd, I've made a few 'straw buys' for friends and friends of friends) and I swear it got here in just under 24 hours!!!! Truly amazing. They're only a hundred miles or so from me, but no matter how you cut it, that's fast.
Randy's good folk, he'll get it in your hands real soon I bet. I'm sure you'll soon be enjoying yours and it'll be basically impossible to get it away from you.......
Remember, for maximum battery lifetime, charge the daylights out of it first thing. Right out of the box, say 4 hours after the charge light goes solid (overnight would be better), tough but it's a one time only deal. After that run it down to when the last 'battery light' doesn't show then do at most one more session before charging again (don't run it until it shows the red charge light or ever to lock out) then stop the charge when the number 7 LED lights but it's still charging when you can. Catching it before the charge 'tops up' will double, triple or even more your service life......IMO a solid trade off for a session or two per charge?
A thousand or more 6 session recharge cycles beats 300 'full charge' ones at 8 sessions per I think. Still 2400 sessions (8 times 300) is still mighty fine.....but 6 to 9000 would be more better......
I can (and have) easily rebuilt batteries, but taking the extra effort to protect my Solo buddy seems to be the right thing to do. After all, it gives so much back?
