I wonder how the College/dorms in Colorado ( and other licensed states ) are handling this issue regarding MJ usage ?
Same way, by contract. You sign an agreement that says you won't bring a firearm into your rented home, right? Otherwise perfectly legal. Likewise, you agree to 'quiet hours' and such as well as a host of other 'ground rules'.
I get it it's no big deal to us. But a drug free home (and lifestyle) is important to some and they have rights too. Real rights, like the right to expect the contract is honored. I've known parents who would cut off funding to a son/daughter who's roommate got busted (by anyone) for drugs. I can see their kid not wanting partying going on.
Kudos to the OP who's trying to get along. I think the roomie has at least as many rights here as he does.....unpopular/common as that concept might be.
Best wishes to both. IMO it speaks well of the OP at this point.
It seems that the "new" charge-and-use model of Solo has a higher failure rate than the older ones, at least from what I can gather here on FC.
Good point. I get the same feeling but our perspective from here is no doubt not all that good. Arizer is no doubt keeping an eye on it, if we see a model change come along I bet that's a clue.
In a way it's like how cops tend to look at their fellow citizens. If you've ever known any as a friend, and hung with them some, the constant dealing with the underside of life taints them no doubt in my mind. Look at the number of divorces for instance. In a way we're like that, we see way more newbies and hear more sad stories than average here?
Although at the end of this here day, I gotta agree with you Q man: There's an awful lot of smoke there, sure seems like there should be a fire at the bottom of it all. We've seen this movie before.
Thanks.
