I don’t have any pictures on hand, but I have been using the Domino case from Vatra. It is almost perfectly sized for the ALP and has a separate zippered compartment on the back side for extras. My only complaint is that it is a bit thick.
It’s not “odor proof”, right, just a padded case?

Any info about prices and how many capsules will have the pack?
I'm hoping for like a 4 or 5 pack, perhaps with a caddy like the one that S&B makes (the flat orange and clear plastic one). The cool thing about that caddy is the built-in funnel for loading

(oops, sorry for double post. Mods please merge if it’s an issue)
2nd edit: geez, I need to learn to read all the way thru before I comment. I see Gary described the capsule setup.

Hi,

We are designing the case. The capsules will come in a set of 6 with a case/loading platform and should arrive at the warehouse by the end of this month. We are making a universal adapter for any bong (next year) it can be attached to the existing MP, and it will be a round shape. We are also coming with a special edition with a color change and a multitool for loading the capsules and cleaning the device (next year).

We hear you; we try our best, and please be patient; most of the production is on, shipping is coming, and sometimes things are not in our hands.

If I'm not answering, it is because we are working on the improvements:) But I'm here, reading the suggestions;)

Happy vaping!

And thanks for all the support and feedback!
Hi Gary,

Will the new thicker microdosing discs be available at the same time as the capsules?

Cheers

George from Vapefiend answered me that he will have a full review of the Legacy Pro next week on his Youtube Channel. He has been testing it out all week long...just a heads up. I watch his channel. I like it.
If you are interested in a review @vapormachina has a long review on youtube trying the device (it is in spanish, but you can see results at 240C in a new bowl, 150C with a new bowl and stepping temp use).
(Actually he has more reviews)

@StringTheorista actually gary did answer: “The capsules will come in a set of 6 with a case/loading platform and should arrive at the warehouse by the end of this month.” :)

I must be out of my mind. Please help. How do I put my vape back to Session mode? Ok...you can laugh now. But, for real I cannot figure it out and I could not find this info anywhere because its probably not written for newbs like me. I am medicated now...perhaps that is a problem.

PS I tried so many combos that I think I might have launched a rocket at NASA.

This is funny and I hadn't thought about it. I'm a lefty and I find the button placement to be perfect
What a breath of fresh air (also a lefty); literally everything is right hand designed. This is a win!
We need your input to help us develop the next best thing:)

We are planning to make a special edition of the PRO early next year.

What color should we go for:
-Gold (celebrity edition)
- some matt color (discrete)
- Funky rainbow
- White
...

What future would you like to see there?
Here we try to add some funky-party things like drow until it buzzes or some challenge to make it fun to use.

Throw some ideas, and we will see what can be done;)

Every input is welcome, the best will receive a free special edition!
Keep the same color, but use different types of wood grain plating where the faux leather/fabric is, then add in a matching wood mouthpiece to round it out.
The device will stay classy, discreet, and have reduced heat retention.

This simple software upgrade: double click to keep the heater on for on demand hits instead of having to hold the button down the entire time, then double click to turn it off or let the timer run out… it would improve on demand mode immensely.

Lifelong woodworker, My choice is always exotic woods, with great grain character like Bocote or Cocbolo..
Actually I'm right handed, But competent with both hands....Double click for autofire\cruise control is a great idea, I use it on all my mods

Yes Cocobolo would be fantastic for the ALP. Walnut and Blackwood also come to mind.

All of the info sounds great to me, I am loving it with 5/8” screens I purchased thru Amazon 15.6mm. Just slightly push down and no mess at all anymore. I will certainly use the dosing capsules once available.

Reading the info has helped tremendously, I never would’ve known about the screen option, removing the small screen, gasket and disc.

I only use it in on-demand mode and have to hold in left hand (I’m a righty) especially in car for comfort and button does occasionally release.

A question for all of the experts, I happen to be lucky enough to have a vehicle with wireless charging pad and just place it on there when not using, I purchased an additional ALP battery with original order. Does keeping it on the charging pad degrade the battery? I never keep it on when it is full.

Also my one suggestion is maybe do something to the stirrer like a scoop/brush at the back end???

Everyone enjoy their weekend since we get an extra hour to vape.

Larry
Wireless charging can make the battery life a little shorter
But you should be fine all in all
I use a wireless charger
with a j-hook adapter, i can milk myself silly without mods.
i can hold the on-demand button-down while pointing the alp in a full vertical or pointing alp down using glass wpa. it's is difficult to use with stock mp in horizontal in my right hand and tolerable in left hand. i like the mp material but not the shape or the short length. i use attached wpa as a mp substitute too for any position of alp unit. i will try all your mods, so i can determine it's superiority. ty for the conversation
I use a jhook sometimes
It works a treat
I had an ed stem held on with a fat mp for hooks
For native I have a glass tube
I love the native mp material and feel/look - just needs to round

Up/down arrows together

Either hand it doesn't make a difference for me
I use a finger or thumb in either hand
It the MP that needs to be round though as I hold it sideways as it sits perfectly in your palm naturally

For swapping attachments and a wpa the above wooden design in ceramic would be great
But for the round MP it will be too big and bulky
I'd prefer the OG material and shape - with a round exit hole and more airflow

I also think that making on demand so you have to click to turn off defeats the purpose - some people do that in session mode already
I like on demand as is because it works properly unlike many on demand vapes
On a bong I had it in session mode anyway for the extra clouds
The jhook sits on top for me and I hold the button as I would native

Focus on the function improvements before all the wood grain and stuff :2c:
I really think you guys nailed the look already and maybe just some new subtle colours if want some changes
Gaudy vapes annoy me
I'm always function over looks
I rather a sleeper that blows you off at the lights than a shiny thing that constantly breaks down

So far the ALP has both things without the the flashy bling
The box says "fast elegant smart"
Too flashy or bright or attempts to look "artisan" will remove the word elegant from the description imo

This vape has still retired all my other portables atm (occasionally I'll have a DV for a change, but not often)
Hits hard, quick, full and even extraction, tasty vapour
Love it

My mini baller/plenty
Love the ALP and the CS I've received from the company
Very eager for the dosing caps

NOT a round mouthpiece. Everybody has a round one, I wouldn't have bought with a round one. Your mouthpiece is what makes you unique, stand by it. I originally thought I'd wanna be able to swivel the current MP and "lock" it into the two opposite positions for everyone to be able to hold it correctly. But as I test it out it doesn't seem to help as much as I thought it would. I think there are three things that would help, any one of these three. Move the button to where the Airvape logo is. Make it so when you reach temp with on demand you can remove your finger from the button and hit it again to stop. Make a round mouthpiece. I may not want a round MP, but it really probably should be an option because there is a reason there so widely used. But as an option. I think the Xmax V3 Pro has this option if I'm not mistaken.

Anyways, I think I may have to send my unit back because it started to act all funky today, not turning on and turning off after a couple seconds with a fresh battery like 3 or 4 times in a row before it would stay on.

I really hope somethings wrong with it because I haven't had the same results everyone else is having.
Please do not move the button
Especially don't try to put it on the door making life difficult with cords that could fail

The button is absolutely perfect
It has all been designed to fit ergonomically in your hand - except for the MP
It sits naturally on the side/at an angle in your hand regardless of where the button would be placed - either my finger or thumb rests naturally on the button depending on which way/hand I hold it
I don't want on demand to stay on at all - it's on demand for a reason

I don't think completely changing this vape will do anything but cause issues to a near perfect design

I don't like holding it flat regardless it doesn't feel natural or comfortable - it looks great to show off the logo in IG pics but does little for comfort and ease of use on the regular (and the logo can still be seen when held on its side anyway lol)

A flat MP is not what makes them unique, and is the least of this vapes features

A round MP is the goods - I don't see why the push back - we are already using the OG legacy MP as it fits better - why can't we have the option to have that flat one or the same style with a round exit that is approx 12mm OD in th same material?
Best of both worlds

The v3pro is a completely different design vape ergonomically and you hold it differently
The ALP actually sits in your palm much more comfortably and naturally imo but - the MP

I believe you mentioned a few weeks ago that it was not functioning properly and a couple of us suggested you contact CS as they replaced my first one and I had no major issues just a little faded gold plate
Now I have two that work fine
Great CS and a great vape without struggle to make it work
Why have you persisted with a unit that appears to be faulty for so long?
If you have not been getting results I'd certainly do this and I am confident they will fix you up

This is the only case I've heard at all of anything even remotely like this with this vape
Hopefully it is just a one off occurrence
Anyway, get onto CS, I reckon they will sort you out mate

A flat MP is not what makes them unique
They basically have 4 vapes and 3 of them have a flat mouthpiece. Their flagship has a flat MP. The only one that doesn't is their cheapest vape. Maybe I'm wrong and other companies have this high a percentage. It seems like even Airvape thinks this is what makes them unique? ;)

The button is absolutely perfect
Well I think the button sucks, lol, and my finger and thumb also rest naturally on it. They just don't do it effortlessly. Who the heck knows man, there are so many different variables......size of hand, strength and dexterity in fingers, flexability in ones wrist, and so on. I also didn't give this a ton of thought, yeah on the door could be problematic. But for me personally, with the button on the logo, it's waaaaaaaaay more comfortable for me. It feels more like my Firewood there, and that's my most comfortable vape I own. Ok, I have both my FW7 and ALP in my lap. With the button on the logo it's not as comfortable as my FW7 because the ALP is much heavier. If the button was on the same door side as the logo but about 2/3 of the way down.......that's the most comfortable position for me. I basically hold it like an ice cream sandwich with my index, middle and ring fingers spread across it's backside and my thumb on the fire button on the logo side 2/3 of the way down, and then my pinky resting underneath where the vent is. Your way with your finger on it makes me feel like the button should be down closer to the middle because it feels more balanced in my hand there, again, also being able to rest my pinky where the vent is. Feels more secure and balanced that way. I use it with my right thumb, probably the same way you do......which also allows for my pinky to rest underneath. It feels more secure and balanced with my right thumb opposed to my right index finger.

The v3pro is a completely different design vape ergonomically and you hold it differently
Again, just throwing spitballs at the wall here. But I'm sure something could be done with a re-designment, not all my ideas were meant to be as easy as a color change, lol.

why can't we have the option to have that flat one or the same style with a round exit
Um, didn't I say that. I love a round MP. 1000 times more so than a flat one. Maybe my execution wasn't the greatest with the Xmax analogy.......but yes, a round MP should be offered as an option in some way. My push back was because some of us buy vapes to fill niches, and this flat MP was a niche I didn't have and people were really diggin' this vape so I went with it. I may use it once a month, but for that one time it'll be fantastic to use that flat MP, and for that one time I'll be diggin' it too.

I don't want on demand to stay on at all - it's on demand for a reason
You lost me on this one? I know it's in reference to hitting the button again to stop on demand mode, but I'm not understanding your answer. Hold button till it reaches temp and buzzes, let go of button, hit button again when wanting to stop on demand. That is on demand, no???

The button is absolutely perfect
It has all been designed to fit ergonomically in your hand - except for the MP
Sorry, but this cracks me up! So, it hasn't quite "ALL" been designed perfectly than, lol. ;)

just want to point out the round MP could be an OPTION. and it would fix a lot of convenience issues as @felvapes pointed out previously. so please round MP as an accessory. this would not remove your existing flat MP @TeaCup so no need to oppose this idea thank you.

edit: what's the size of that glass stem inside the ALP does anyone know? thanks you.

The button is perfectly positioned

The only reason it would work on top is if you want to hold it flat and awkwardly

If you had the option to hit it as it sits naturally in the palm of your hand with a round MP - the button is perfect and on top would be even more out of place

The thing has been designed to sit in the hand great

I already said that it's hard to hit the button holding it flat
But it's awkward holding it flat as is

The vape sits in my hand great

If you use it once a month maybe your suggestions are less thought out as people who use it daily

Also
Why have you come on here twice weeks/months apart- said it runs like shit and doesn't work - but not contacted CS or responded when multiple people here mentioned that to you?

How can you love your flat MP when the vape doesn't work for you?
Just a bit weird to me
And the suggestions for a button on the door is going to hurt the vape and cause issues not improve it :2c:

I only use it in session mode so button placement doesn’t bother me.

I like the shape of the MP alot. I’d hate for them to scrap it. I just wished the wood one was avail in EU.

As long as we get caps, nipple stems and a sleek case I’m good.

I don’t think we need to redesign anything.

It's so smooth for me as is
I'd think nipples would restrict the airflow more
Nothing wrong with having them available though for those that want them
Like a round MP (which you could choose your option at checkout)

Instead of the little gold disk, how about a hinged screen over the bowl?

I do really like the mouthpiece material though.

As an alternative, Perhaps some of our woodworkers here might be up for making some custom orders for some of us? I like the ones where you can put a round stem in.
