Been using mine for three days now. It's a fantastic device. I stuck it to 360F and that seems to be a good temp to just suck on. The flavor is great and it's super duper smooth which I wasn't expecting - every vape I have used will make me cough eventually - not yet with this. I did grab the ruby tube, and the air I'm pulling always feel cool, even 6 minutes in. The amount of vape is real nice. It also feels very solid in the hand, has a nice heft. Doesn't feel cheap.
I'd like to see a WPA that replaces the built-in ceramic mouthpiece, or even a whip with a 14mm adapter on the other end would be cool. The mouthpiece was made to be removable, why not take advantage of that instead of adapters using gaskets?
Anyway, sorry about the textile fuss previously, it's been fine since I rubbed it out all day during 4/20.
i made a whip for mine 2ft . I got 10ft of food-grade high temp resistance 3/8 ID silicone hose from amazon under $10. and bought 4pcs of 4inch test tube quality glass straws with 3/8 OD on amazon for $12.
I wet'ed one end 2ft piece in water and stretched it over the alp's stock mouth piece. then wet'ed other end and pushed it on the rough cut side of one glass straws into the hose about 2 inches.
it was a little hard to get it in that deep. then i reinstalled the mouthpiece with gasket attached back into the alp unit , presto.
i already had the alp loaded and fired it up to 390f, did a 3 min session and started vaping- i just held on to the alp in one hand and the glass end in the other hand.
It was SMOOTH, cool vapor, good taste, no plastic taste/smell at all.
The hose at the mouthpiece, you need to handle with care or it would separate from the alp, with mouthpiece still attached to the hose.
I like it vaping weed around the house.
Note: it was difficult to get the ALP's little mouthpiece into the hose but got it done with effort.
So there a DIY thing that gives you extra hose and extra glass tubes. You may or may not like it but thought i'd share my experience
