AirVape Legacy Pro

Recieved mine AVLP black today, good looking device, little heavy but good build.

Not that more clouds than my xmax v3 pro but better airfow and taste.

The airvape dosingcaps are a real challenge to me (Airvape need to redesign the caps threadless and size) and hold only just a little more herb than the caps from the V3.

0,15 V3 vs 0,18 AVLP Course grind

Just had one session capsule at 190C and on demand at 210C as a first try on the AVLP and looking foreward for more tasty sessions but wont rule out Xmax V3 Pro as daily just yet.
don't use caps at home clean between bowls like with dabs just oven in upside down position. my steam punk unit stock out performs my modified black unit huge clouds a 360 f. i cannot believe how much better it performs, it is a mystery they are supposed to be the same, but i swear they are not.

it seems like sp works better or cleaner lol
remove little screen by oven and put 15mm s.s. screen over the the bud in oven. replaced glass tube with s ruby filled glass tube from vgoodies. basically
it is difficult to put little long screen and gasket back in though go back to page 50 and start reading to see what we all did to improve

Ok, i am not a long time user of a vaporizer but this is new to me.

With my new ALP a did a session on 190C 4 good hits, T up to 210C and 1 bad hit.

Dumped my capsule and see black AVB.
Half of it was Coal Black, could even color with it.

I had about 0,18 course grind not packed and in a capsule.
Normal slow steady max 15sec puls

try med grind 360 f to 410 f- 4 hits is about all i get. 10 sec hits are long enough. 15 sec is long for me

Don't suppose they have replacement lid stickers for the SE do they? Mine has bubbles n stuff under it and it's not laying down properly with pressure. Just got it, and my OCD is going nuts.

ask cs@airvapeusa.com or Gary-Airvape here. mine does not bubble, that's weird. i though it was painted not a sticker?

It's the blue textile material. They're just stickers or something. The lid one is fraying on the edges like it's too big, and has a thin line bubble. It's not a terrible job, but for the cost you don't want to see this.

Honestly, I'll probably just forget about it once I use this thing after quitting time.

I got it smoothed out! I think since it got so warm while enjoying it, and just massaging it over and over it was enough to get it patted down.

That said, these are some smooth hits. Thumbs up.

Yes its more the general upkeep is too much. For a light user it may work better but for me it’s a no go.
i do 4 bowels or more a day, 7days a week, is that not heavy use? Cleaning difficulty is relative. 4 me it's a little more than some but less than others. i hate devices where you have o-rings of differ sizes and glass mouthpiece stem with a weed chamber in them. so easy to break them. i guess each to their own preferences. no disrespect intended davesmith.

Anyone managed to fit a revolve stem in?
how would a dynavap revolve stem work on an alp unit?

Been using mine for three days now. It's a fantastic device. I stuck it to 360F and that seems to be a good temp to just suck on. The flavor is great and it's super duper smooth which I wasn't expecting - every vape I have used will make me cough eventually - not yet with this. I did grab the ruby tube, and the air I'm pulling always feel cool, even 6 minutes in. The amount of vape is real nice. It also feels very solid in the hand, has a nice heft. Doesn't feel cheap.

I'd like to see a WPA that replaces the built-in ceramic mouthpiece, or even a whip with a 14mm adapter on the other end would be cool. The mouthpiece was made to be removable, why not take advantage of that instead of adapters using gaskets?

Anyway, sorry about the textile fuss previously, it's been fine since I rubbed it out all day during 4/20.

i made a whip for mine 2ft . I got 10ft of food-grade high temp resistance 3/8 ID silicone hose from amazon under $10. and bought 4pcs of 4inch test tube quality glass straws with 3/8 OD on amazon for $12.
I wet'ed one end 2ft piece in water and stretched it over the alp's stock mouth piece. then wet'ed other end and pushed it on the rough cut side of one glass straws into the hose about 2 inches.
it was a little hard to get it in that deep. then i reinstalled the mouthpiece with gasket attached back into the alp unit , presto.
i already had the alp loaded and fired it up to 390f, did a 3 min session and started vaping- i just held on to the alp in one hand and the glass end in the other hand.
It was SMOOTH, cool vapor, good taste, no plastic taste/smell at all.
The hose at the mouthpiece, you need to handle with care or it would separate from the alp, with mouthpiece still attached to the hose.
I like it vaping weed around the house.
Note: it was difficult to get the ALP's little mouthpiece into the hose but got it done with effort.
So there a DIY thing that gives you extra hose and extra glass tubes. You may or may not like it but thought i'd share my experience

None taken of course!

Id say thats similar to my usage. It really is subjective.

The avlp is one of the best session portables ive tried theres no doubt but for me it didnt quite fit. Hard to explain in a succinct manner. It’s certainly not anything specifically “wrong” with the unit.

Anyway, ill be keeping an eye here as clearly this unit has heating and battery tech working better than most (all?) of the competition.

Happy vaping!

I hacked and coughed through the last half, lol.. I havent had it long, but initial impressions are very high on this device. At the sale price, there's a hell of a lot of value performance and aesthetic appeal here, imo.
try my homemade, direct to mouthpiece whip hose hack. it will send you on a journey to futurama space. lol
