It looks like from here on out public opinion won't matter and corporate heads will make the choices.
I'm guessing that will hurt Norml's chances.
Bummer.
But like you said, cool to see!
I may be wrong, but I think Joe & I are in agreement.
He is saying that for the Pax he uses 1/2" ID & 5/8" OD which is what I use too.
He is saying that you need 3/8" ID & 1/2" OD to act as the 14mm connection. When using the PonG, the PonG acts as the 14mm connection. So no 3/8" ID 1/2" OD...
No, what I have is 1/2" ID and 5/8" OD. It fits over both the PonG end and the Pax mouthpiece.
When I said 3/8" it was just total bad memory.
EDIT: I actually have some of that 3/8" ID tubing that you ordered, and it stretches enough that it does work. I just tried it. The 1/2" ID stuff I am...
GAH!
I should have double-checked before posting. It is 1/2" ID hose that fits over the mouthpiece, not 3/8" ID.
EDIT: I'm sorry you ordered 3/8" tubing, I think you posted that as I was posting this. I feel terrible, my memory was just bad. Any way you can cancel the order?
I don't notice a...
My water tube came with a PonG adapter that works great. I use EDIT:3/8" 1/2" ID tubing to connect it to the Pax mouthpiece:
The PonG is nice because it gives you something (that plastic lip) to hold onto when you pull the tube.
The two almost look like they were made for each other :D...
I guess my reading comprehension could use some work
Glad you got it sorted out.
What gauge strings did you get? It's always good to have extras around in case you break one, but you may not want to order too many until you know what gauge (and brand) you like playing. As you move along...
Ok, if you have a pickguard then tightening the screws (turning to the right) should raise the pickups. So it sounds like yours is working correctly on the top E (fat string) but not the bottom E (thin string).
Unfortunately pickguards are a bit of a pain to take off. But if you unscrew all...
Is it possible to post a picture of the guitar? Or even better, a pic of how the pickups are attached.
There are different ways the screws can adjust the pickups.
If the pickups are direct mount (screwed right into the body of the guitar), the pickups lower as you tighten the screws. This is...
I'm not sure I understand you. What do you mean the e string is 'sprung'?
The pickup height screws sound like they are working correctly, but it's tough to tell from your description. The screws on each side of the pickup should raise the pickup and lower the pickup in relation to the strings...
The screen also looks different. The short edges have much bigger indents for airflow, and the long edges almost look like teeth instead of subtle small waves.
