I'm not sure if I'll wait for the final pics or just do a render, probably next weekend the latest. Some people will get upset either way. I’m just hoping that overall, this new, more affordable design will appeal to many more people.

The CU in the final one should cool as well as the V1, that's what I'm aiming for. I only use it natively. The main purpose of it being wider in the right places is not just for 18mm compatibility, but also to try to completely avoid it getting hot after repeated use (especially with the extra...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yes, it should be still compatible, even with the narrow wands.

The V2 is slightly shorter, but the upgrade kit will include the correct size thicker sleeve and updated indicator housing. There’s still plenty of wiggle room

No, and it should be available during the early release this month. No Kind of, but not exactly. The goal was a more even, full-bowl extraction and a quicker ‘start’ with less chance of combustion or charring. The signature won’t be more conduction-based through the bowl because it won’t reach...

yes I'll start the pre-order very soon for the early Ti models Roughly the same number of balls by gram weight, as they’ll be 3mm this time. However, the induction sleeve is 3x thicker, which makes a significant difference with both torch and IH. The bowl will be able to run hotter and...

It’s just one of the complete devices for now. Upgrade kits and other accessories will be available at release. Yes, that discount will remain. 20% off on the Reload. I don’t have many left and the new batch might slightly delay the release, as I don’t want to launch without Reloads. :(

I usually don’t offer big discounts, especially right away, as it’s unfair to my wholesale partners. In my opinion, most future buyers of the V2 already own a V1, so I’d have to increase the base price to others to justify a significant discount. I’ve also had many issues with discounts applied...

There's only the Tempest 2 which has the bigger bowl.

The compatibility is the same as before. If all goes well, a new IH is coming that will also be compatible. A new adapter/stand will be available for the wand, which noticeably improves performance.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

It’s going to have a completely new stem and a more refined head with a cheaper price tag, addressing most of the issues the v1 had. I plan to announce it when production is ready for the first (early-access) batch, hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks. Similar to last time, there will be a...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Make sure that you don’t fill too many balls into the head, it must be below the threading. If you can’t screw it down fully and it stops on one of the balls, it might undo itself. After the screen is fully screwed in, shake the head, and if the balls still rattle, you’re good to go

You mean that the airflow tube + mouthpiece is not coming off from the cooling unit? It’s probably the o-ring that holds the airflow tube, try to heat it at the adjustment ring. If you can save the metal parts and remove the plastic, then it’s only a new POM bearing.

Heat the mouthpiece slowly with the Wand until the plastic softens, then pull it apart from the CU. You should be able to remove all the plastic this way.

I hope to be able to do the draw on 4/20 next month for the reviews, so make sure to leave a review if you'd like to enter. The chances of winning one of the new Tempest 2s are currently around 7%. You can submit a verified review through the review notification email you received sometime...

The bowl is wider so it will need a bigger cap unfortunately. The stem will be compatible ofc.
