Never forgotten to load a battery. I did about smack myself in the head when I picked up my T1 for the first time since February. Muscle memory had gotten so used to lifting the ceramic dumbbell that the little aluminum tube felt light as a feather.
Got the shipping notice for my new Cera today. Turn around time sure has improved in the past few months!:haw:
Got my other one boxed up and shipped out for repair as well. It'll definitely be nice having a redundant backup once that gets fixed. Zeki at TET has been happily responding to my...
Indeed, thanks for the info. I like the idea, my throat gets overheated at times, but it sounds like execution might be lacking somewhat. Not much you can do to keep something that small from drying out fairly quickly as you're pulling hot air through it, I guess.
Thought about trying a Nibbler...
I just had the same thought this afternoon. T1 is a decent little piece and I'm still planning to pursue repair on my Dart but its worth it to me to just have a backup Cera. I put in my order a few hours ago.
What's the verdict on the "moisture conditioner"? Gimmick or real deal? I added one...
You're right, two stacked 3.0v batteries. This does seem less desirable than one 3.7v for the reasons you mention. Another instance of not doing the homework. The difference wasn't apparent in practical terms to me just by looking at the options on the TET store website and just the designation...
I actually have a T1 and a Dart cartridge. My T1 is still going strong, though I've never used it much before. That's actually serving as my backup piece right now. My only real complaint with it is regarding what I consider way too short battery life. I think the Dart performance is pretty...
My recent failure got me started shopping around the portable wax vape market and it seems like I actually should adjust my expectations about these devices. I rather naively got into this thinking I'd be able to buy one and it would just last me forever when the reality is more like a...
My Cera is headed back for repairs now and that got me started shopping again. I'm thinking about dipping my toes in the Persei pool now but it looks like there are some fairly significant changes/updates/improvements coming up shortly? Should I just check back in a couple months or is this as...
Mine just died out of nowhere. It's super frustrating because after reading several posts from others with failing Ceras here, I babied mine constantly out of fear that it was just that flimsy. Apparently I was right, unfortunately, though it hasn't so much as tipped over once. It's never even...
Man this sucks. Just catching up on the thread after a while and it's depressing as hell seeing stuff like this all over. Mine still works (knock wood) but I'm anxiously anticipating failure at any moment now.
I was kind of wondering the same thing. I was interested early on but I didn't want to actually commit to buying one until I had at least some idea of how they perform. I'm glad other people are buying them, though, even if I don't get one. I was conflicted for a while because I didn't want you...
I've been following the Cera discussion for a long time too. One thing I've noticed is how every once in a while, someone who doesn't own and has never tried the device, and has actually never dealt with TET before, jumps in with a post where they just seem to be desperately trying to churn up...
Yeah, that doesn't quite seem like the same product that they're delivering right now. I noticed the thumb switching shots and the instructional section at the end appears to illustrate the use of a latching switch.
I did find the shot of the guy riding a bike while hitting his Cera to be kind...
Thanks for the quick feedback, guys. Sounds like I could be in the right ballpark at least.
Finding time between work and class to design and prototype is probably going to be the real challenge anyway.
Anyone happen to know what the max temp of the exterior of the core would be? Maybe a better question would be, would it get hotter than 370F on the outside during normal use?
I potentially have access to some high-temperature thermoplastics used for 3D printing purposes but I wasn't sure this...
I find it just depends on how you use it. When I first got mine, I went through 1g in a couple days. Cera is powerful enough to vape extracts pretty quickly if you let it and I think there's a natural tendency to just push it to the limit.
After those first couple days, I just scaled back on my...
