Well, I guess Persei decided I'm done. Had a perfectly working unit for a few months, put it down for a couple hours today and when I picked it back up, the light blinked at me a couple times, then the spring promptly smoked out and collapsed. It was fun while it lasted.

My sr71 came with one coil. I ordered a sr74 ti coil for it and it works fine.
