The alcohol tincture does taste pretty harsh especially with ABV. If you take that tincture and turn it into hard candy though.... it tastes damn fine and has no fat like brownies/cookies :D I also make a glycerine tincture that tastes like weed flavored honey - good stuff!!

I've had ones tough to get apart. If you can take a very thin blade (or something similar) and get it in between where top/bottom meet, then twist ever so gently to use leverage to get things moving. Has worked for me. Good luck!
