PG is propylene glycol which is widely used in ecigs and many other applications including asthma inhalers. I have some on hand so I will experiment with my next Pax cleaning.

You don't need a special charger if you get a power inverter for your car - That is what I use. Can charge my laptop, phone, pax or whatever I need to. Mine looks something like this one, I got enough watts for my laptop...

You can get coconut oil in grocery stores these days or organic virgin from health food store if so inclined. If I remember correctly 1 tsp. of soy lecithin to one batch of brownies but you might search back in this thread as I know it was covered here... I haven't used it myself.

Hmm... I still haven't run BHO myself but I've read so much and always wanted to try it... but afraid I'd either blow myself up or not get all the butane out, not get it clean enough, etc. I do cook, extract, tincture, etc A LOT though :D Theoretically though you should be able to dissolve...

Here in FL I can only get 151 Everclear but it works well enough. I'd also agree that lower alcohol content stuff doesn't extract the goods as well as higher proof. If I could get the high test - I would ;) Without the higher alcohol I think you're leaving some of the goodies behind.

BINGO!!! This post should win a prize ROFL!! I have the old style LB brush and I extracted my spring...cleaned spring and the area it sits in very well and that solved the fiddly temp light/connection issue I had with one of my Pax. Great tip!! Kudos!

My son uses a soda stream but I agree I wouldn't use it with my tinctures.

I use a cylinder space case to tap herb in, tap the Pax to get into oven, pack with my finger and then the MFLB brush to clean the shoulders and get the stray crumbs into the oven. I keep LB brushes with my Pax all the time now as it seems as necessary as it is with the LB to me but I'm OCD...

I 2nd what Jam said. I had issues too but after cleaning that outer tube area - all's good. Mfgr suggests putting mouthpiece in and clicking on/off a few times when wet with ISO but being very careful not to get it on the temp button. I did that and quickly wiped the area when I removed the...

I cleaned mine several days ago and no troubles since - knock on wood. I also opened a box of Ziplocs yesterday to find a sample of those little dental brushes. Cool since I was thinking of snagging some for next cleaning.
