@skeletor I second Crafty Vaper. If you just follow the steps outlined on their website they will take care of you: http://www.storz-bickel.com/shop_us/en/repair-info/ That outlines the steps for North American customers. If you are outside of NA, it should redirect you to the EU site where...

@elmomuzz hey Elmo, what do you use to clean your muzzmod? I'm guessing ISO is bad for the epoxy. Warm soapy water would work but then what about reclaim? Cheers

Wow, that's really too bad. Sounds like no communication between the people who get the unit for repair and those that send out the replacement. Your old address was still the one in their shipping system. :( Be patient and as polite as you can, I hope they take care of you.

I noticed something about my serial number too. It was lower than I expected based on reports of when new housing appeared. I guess they reuse serials that have come back for repair. Your OCD is going to get triggered anyway though, the new one will get beat up haha.

They did similar to my Mighty. Updated firmware and replaced housing around the bowl. Crafty was a brand new sealed replacement. Not sure what makes them decide lol.

Posting duplicate information from a less reputable source is the definition of spam. Using pictures taken of Wikipedia to impart the info is just silly. It's funny, you seem to ignore information from others until you "discover" it yourself. :)

@Marky dude, quit spamming the thread with pictures. :) Wikipedia? That can be edited by anyone. I previously posted links to manufacturer datasheets and pasted in the text detailing temperature ratings. We don't need huge images of the same information, what a pain this is on mobile...

Just wanted to put the info I found on maximum rated temperatures of these epoxies in the Crafty thread as well for anyone else considering a muzzmod. From the datasheet: http://www.loctiteproducts.com/tds/EPXY_HEAVY_tds.pdf Service Temperature: Long Term Exposure: -9°F(-23°C) to 120°F(49°C)...

From the datasheet: http://www.loctiteproducts.com/tds/EPXY_HEAVY_tds.pdf Service Temperature: Long Term Exposure: -9°F(-23°C) to 120°F(49°C) Short Term Exposure: -9°F(-23°C) to 302°F(150°C) Kwik is rated to 300F as well, but the jb weld (non kwik) is 500F if memory serves me. (edited in...

You blew my mind but when it came back it was like Neo at the end of the Matrix. I said whoa and it all became clear.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was comparing muzzmod to direct CU to mouth, no water. Using SonG I would start at 210 too but it would last longer, not the 7-9 but certainly not 3 like muzzmod. Regarding the higher temperature finishing the bowl quicker though, I am not sure how that works. I...

@biohacker I don't think it's producing more vapour per se just that it is making a better seal in my case. It's been a couple months since I used the SonGs but I didn't cache a whole bowl in 3 draws using it if memory serves. Maybe my lung capacity has improved in that time though too...

Solved my fit issue with an adapter from a LHS... So I connected my muzzmod to the Crafty with an empty bowl, cranked it to 210 and waited. Once at temp for 15-20 seconds, I tried a quick test to see if any vapor came from the jb kwik, seemed fine after a few test pulls. Left it for a minute...

So I picked up an adapter at a local shop so I could try out the mod tonight. Also saw an awesome bubbler that will be 50% off in September. Too bad it's $280 to begin with. Question about cleaning this. I assume soaking it in ISO is no good due to epoxy?

Yeah, guess I could always go that route too, but I was kinda leaning towards new piece altogether anyway. The current one is a 45 degree angle on the downstem, now that I have muzzmod, I'd like to go straight so I don't have to hold it.

Made my muzzmod last night, all seemed to go well. I can't see any epoxy on the inside, guess I'll run some empty bowls to ensure nothing comes from epoxy. Thanks for the easy tutorial elmo! I found a serious problem when I tried to use it with the water piece I already had though. It has a...
