    Phase3 Vaporizers

Yeah I think it's tricky since the glass tubing probably falls out of tolerance a bit more when the glassblower is hot-working the details in. I'm not sure on that one as I've only been using this one coil for testing this vape so far, but I was kindly sent a custom extra-tall 8 wrap 20mm coil...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

:smug: I appreciate your interest in my sapphire evaporator! You could definitely try alumina ceramic spheres! I haven't tried 5mm but I did try 6mm for a while. Realistically any size could be used, one could easily go smaller in size to increase the draw restriction. I really enjoy the...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

 Cheers bro! Unfortunately all that cool stuff is gonna be pretty much entirely subjective, I think some of these variables could be quantified to some degree with lab analysis methods, but nobody would want to pay for it. It would be an awesome experiment for someone who had access...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Good question! It really just depends on the type of ceramic - Alumina ceramic, aka aluminum oxide is the same chemical composition as sapphire, (Al2O3) but in a less pure form. There are other technical ceramics such as zirconia, silicon carbide, aluminum nitride, etc. all with varying...

Vleaf Go: on-demand convection herb vaporizer!

This type of vape seems like a good "emergency spliff" Me and MaxVapor had an idea to build a small concentrate vape about a year or so back as an alternative to prefilled carts, "emergency spliff" style, small battery and load capacity, but something tiny you could stow away somewhere for...

My dude! Cheers bro, I appreciate you stopping by the vape lab and checking this one out!:rockon: If anyone has any questions, comments, concerns, etc. feel free to post them up! I'll do my best to address everything that I can

    Phase3 Vaporizers

This is with two scoops of ground green, probably ~100mg. 650F on the PID which is pretty moderate, even at 800F it hasn't combusted. This is still with the loose coil fitment on my 19mm prototype; I'm still expecting these numbers to drop a hundred degrees with the final 20mm version. Fine...

    ¿Dry herb or rosin?

You could press rosin without using bags.

I believe it's because Quartz is nearly pure silica.

Post-Processing Rosin - Your wish, after the squish

Canna capsules would be the easiest :D If you still want to dab it that could be tricky to get rid of the flavor. With solvents you could try various chromatography medias but I definitely understand not wanting to mess with all that, that's why we press rosin in the first place. :myday:

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Check out this article by mega OG Task Rok of Highly Educated https://highlyeducatedti.com/blogs/information/thermal-shock-vs-tensile-strength We used to use boro nails for dabbing back in the day, they eventually switched to quartz for durability, of course people used to dab at WAY hotter...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Possibly they were glass? as far as I understand, genuine Quartz can be torched til it's glowing, then submerged in water without cracking due to the very low coefficient of expansion. People who do uptemp dabs with Quartz inserts often clean the insert by pulling the dish out with tweezers and...

Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

Well I hope you don't drop it to test that one out! :D you're right it is kanthal wire, I always mix that up in my head with nichrome but yeah, kanthal is what he says in his build videos. There's a few on YouTube where he builds the heater if you haven't seen them, cool stuff!

Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

Aren't the thermal properties of porcelain quite similar to glass? The heater itself is nichrome according to Dr. Colly's build videos.

    Dispensary Pre-roll Experience

Only ever had one great pre roll in the entire state of California! No surprise this one stood out because they actually put their own ground green in it, cultivated in house! 25% THC to boot. Great flavor and potency when broke down and vaporized! I always thought it was such a joke that...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I assume you also saw that post about this yesterday in the "flower vs rosin" thread. Pretty interesting stuff, honestly it wouldn't surprise me, stuff like this seems to happen all the time when new technology is adopted, and then alternative info trickles out later. People used to press...

    Dynavap VapCap

I used to do one hitters with the original glass Vapcap and a single jet torch all the time, I've never used a metal dynavap though.
