It just depends on your setup, my MaxVapor has power and XLR out the back which I prefer as I like to put my controller at the edge of a desk or table and "dangle" the coil off the side.

I think it's around 50-ish, I'll check the next time I disassemble it. I might try 3mm pearls next time I order some just to check it out with a bit more draw resistance! edit: alternatively, different mesh size screens could be used to adjust draw resistance with the same sized pearls as well...
