    Bello Vapor Tap

They said it could in the video but I didn't see anything else about it. I tried to visit their website but it wouldn't open for me.

Give this a gander :brow: https://www.instagram.com/p/ByTn2FBAgDK/ "Extracting the resin's aromatic essence through low temperature mechanical separation produces this low viscocity, low yielding, terpene rich SHO. The diversity of cannabinoids in this fraction of the flower's resin is...

    Bello Vapor Tap

This things actually pretty neat BUT I can't imagine many folks spending that kind of coin to plug in a prefilled cartridge when you could just hand your pen to somebody. This seems totally epic for cannabis brands to demo their products at expos and cups though! Any info on how it operates...

    Vape Carts Health Crisis Megathread

From my research, I don't think anyone should be too concerned with plant wax, people have been smoking cannabis for over 10,000 years with no issues, which should result in much more of those waxes being inhaled than with a temperature controlled vaporizer. However many people in the...

In both cases the plant wax is being heated, but not necessarily being vaporized. Nonacosane for example has a boiling point over 800F. Possibly the waxes undergo some thermal degradation, but I don't think that information exists yet. With rosin you filter out all that inactive plant...

    Vape Carts Health Crisis Megathread

You're very welcome, I've researched the wax thing pretty extensively - A few years back some of the rosin community got concerned that the plant waxes in rosin might cause lipid pneumonia. It turns out that most of these waxes have a much higher boiling point than what normal people vape at...

The entire plant is coated in epicuticular wax. When you vape flower you're heating all that wax up regardless. As far as yield... Cannabinoids are more soluble in ethanol at ambient temperature, but many people use cold ISO for the QWISO process to minimize pulling chlorophyll and other polar...

Sapphire and Ruby inserts for bangers

Maybe that ring is a tool mark from the machining process? I don't know enough about the processing of gems to really say, possibly the haziness is micro cracks as well? Hopefully the other one you have coming is pristine, nothing wrong with having a "beater" insert, I got a cracked Ruby insert...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

Wow that's crazy, a 7g puck barely fits in my plates, how did you fit two 25g bottle tech pucks? I notice many of the commercial rosin brands are pressing pretty small amounts (of hash) as it allows much less contact time on the plates versus pressing large pucks.

Sapphire and Ruby inserts for bangers

Is it just me or does it look hazy, kinda scratched? Sapphire/Ruby is almost as hard as diamond so it would be kinda hard to scratch it. You might try making a thick paste with baking soda and water (preferably distilled) and see if any of that scrubs off.

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I don't press square pucks much, but they seem like they can more easily expand beyond the bag size if not pre-pressed pretty firm. I noticed that when I was beta testing a few pre press mouldsq for Dabpress. I agree with you on the two methods being different, bottle tech seems more for small...

l None of mine look like that. I've never ordered any off the 'gate though.

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

The difference is the heat helps the oil run away from the puck/heat via capillary action. Not so when pre-pressing. The whole bottle tech concept originally came out to avoid pre-pressing, while still getting the same consistent PSI of using bags. Many started pre pressing bottle tech style to...

    Vape Carts Health Crisis Megathread

The reason why these vape pen lipid pneumonia cases were such an anomaly is because these cartridge pens normally provide the cleanest vapor. Various processes are used with vape pen oil to remove plant fats and waxes, as they would otherwise burn and clog the atomizer. (the entire plant is...

On the contrary, if you stop by the rosin thread you'll find that most on here who use concentrates do it specifically because of the smoother vapor. Rosin allows you to filter out 75%+ on non-active material. The result is cleaner vapor as you're not applying heat and inhaling the byproducts...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I do use a pre press, but just to make the puck fit between the plates, I try not to lean on it too much. Be interesting to hear what others think on the issue!

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I certainly do! IMO, yes, it's definitely a thing. As far as flower rosin, at the least it definitely affects color, it also seems to affect yield and flavor IME by smashing all the trichomes into the plant material. Yield is always a variable thing with flower so it's hard to say for...

How much bud do you vaporize per session?

I've made my own blends, but it doesn't seem the same as genetics that naturally occur in those ratios, possibly other lesser known cannabinoids coming through when the plant expresses equal parts THC and CBD? Not really sure, it just felt amazing. I'd still be down to try more home blends...

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

I always find those comments interesting since Borosilicate is just a less pure version of Quartz. You guys think the boron nitride adds flavor? Any theories?

How much bud do you vaporize per session?

I have tried a number of various CBD products, and for the most part I liked them - it's just not something that I'm used to stocking the pantry with. I almost ordered some flower a while back but there's so many hemp vendors now it's a little overwhelming. I'd really like to try more true 1:1...
