I think the WPA is a critical piece with this vape. I find hitting it with the aluminum pipe lacks the cooling I need with my throat.

I'm loving the value and quality of my new dhgate dimpled j-hook by lumin88. It's thicker than the generic j-hooks I had before. And cools the vapor pretty well.

@Zagala Sounds like the 10mm glass heater cover HI is a cool vape. How does it roast differently compared to your 3/8" steel heater cover HI? I have the 3/8" one and really like it. When my name come up I may have to get a bamboo glass one like yours.

Yeah, I get what you're referring to now. Sounds like you have some rock solid bud. I also prefer a medium fine grind.

I'm not sure what you mean by "between the thumb and forefinger." I find with my Santa Cruz shredder, I grind some bud and it appears to fluff up to more once ground. I grind upside down as I think it grinds it a little finer. Then it gets stored in a small glass cosmetic jar. I don't suck up...

@VanCough Not hot at all. I notice the glass getting warm at the bend. I'm using mine for smallish amounts with a log though. It offers cooling. My throat is sensitive without one. And a genetic j-hook is like $17.

@Silenced008 for the heater's screen just leave it on for a day. You could use a brush or sewing pin to scrape the screen clean. Personally I would try to burn off anything there. Try inverting the log. Good to hear you like it. Simple and effective.
