    Vaping in "adult life"

I like hearing some of you guys are able to moderate to not every day use. I should strive to be more balanced in my use. On a four day break now.

    The HI

Still loving my Heat Island. Favorite vape. Definitely worth it if you are unsure. @GoldenBud nice. Looks like a vapcap tipped stem into the 7/16" ss heater cover. I bet that's some efficient extraction. Nothing beats my HI for efficient convection effects.

    What was your vapcap progression?

2019m and a ti tip was my first purchase. Next I added two glass mouth pieces from sneaky Pete. A Hula and a Knarly. I preferred the Knarly with it's 6" length and carb, but I dropped it on the garage floor. Then I got a low temp cap which I prefer over the regular. I appreciate the vapcap's...

    Vapman

I finally received my olive basic/pure vapman from grasscity (took about three weeks from Amsterdam to the East coast). I like it a lot and find it has amazingly great flavor, is fairly quick to use, and can pack a punch for the amount of bud used. It is such an ingenious device. I am now...

    The HI

8mm fitted screens from Alan. Here is a picture of the roasting tube with two formed screens. There is a silicone sleeve at the bottom of the roasting tube to seal with the 14mm j-hook. The 3/8" HI heater cover butts up against the glass tube and the silicone sleeve at the top helps create a...

    The HI

Was really enjoying my HI today. Once the log is warmed up it keeps cooking. I kept getting clouds. The first pull had amazing taste with the tilt method of mixing cool air. Later hits just kept producing vapor and the taste never got terrible. Made me realize how much more I can extract with...

What is your daily driver out of your arsenal?

Heat Island log and less often the dynavap. I have few vapes and have not tried most of the others mentioned. Good to read two mention the vapman as that's next. VAS is a journey.

    The HI

Nice. A possible roasting stem/tube addition could be a low budget WPA. Pair a 2" glass tube (~ $5 at toasty-top.com/tubes - it comes with a formed screen) and a 1/2" long silicone sleeve ($.50) over the glass tube's bottom end and this should allow an air tight fit with 14mm female glass joint...

    Vapman

I think piece of a toothpick and a drop of wood glue usually works for stripped wood holes in other settings. You may want to use a razor blade to make the tooth pick thinner and no glue in the hole to see if that helps. And/or use wood glue if you think it won't off gas and/or be in the air path.

    The HI

Good job going for a log. You will like it. I think logs are powerful and simple (like unbreakable). There is a little warm up time to heat soak the metal heater cover and a little recovery time, so a little learning curve. But overall I think they are amazing for convection extraction and...

    Vapman

Me too. Looking for mini dosing with flavor, less throat irritation and conduction effects (for variety's sake).

    The HI

Here she is. I figured out how to insert an image by url (right click on image, open the image in a new tab, and then use that url). The maker's craftsmanship is top notch. I'm faithfully adding a finish/sealant (1 part beeswax to 2 part mineral oil).

@Shit Snacks those WonG pieces are amazing. Linked below is a pic of my highly figured walnut HI and three 14mm WPAs I've used. I could not figure out how to insert image by url. Sorry, old guy syndrome. my HI on imgur

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Sorry, size the inner blue flame to be about the distance between two lotus petals. Heat with small circles in the middle of the cap top.

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Yes, the blue part. About a medium size flame. And from memory, the end of the yellow flame should almost touch the metal plate as you make tiny circles.
