    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The "When did you pre-order?" question comes up every couple of weeks. (There was a mod request that the "when" discussion be moved to another thread; don't know if that happened or not.) The short of it is that there have been and continue to be multiple factors affecting availability...

Great Cloud experience and tips and yet in the Current Setup it is . . . where? :D

I'm gonna try this using the Cyclone bowl. I have a 90 female/female adapter on the way from ALT which will work better. After having a social session sharing the Cloud/HT - a mini-tutorial with each new user plus reminders thru the evening - I'm not sure the benefits guests receive outweigh all...

This was my thinking too - until the wife tried the Cloud. I thought she would prefer the Q's whip convenience and not particularly care about anything else. Wrong. After the less drag/smoother/cooler hits from the Cloud - and btw I use a very low-drag/good diffusion bubbler with the whip - she...

Once there is a cooked-on ring of resin, it's pretty hard. I needed to take it slow and let the ISO eventually loosen and dissolve it. As mentioned by others, you can additionally use something harder to scrape the resin loose. I have tools designed to get into tight spaces like this, but I...

fwiw . . . mine will not fill up in the lower section, either. As the water approaches the top of the lower dome, the upper section begins to fill. When the water reaches the top of the upper dome it enters the air path and runs down, coming out the joint.

Thanks, weedemon. Is this where I insert the cliche about "great minds think alike . . . "? :D I also noticed that an extra fine grind at the start added some restriction and drag. I also suspect that the state of the herb may be a factor. I've weighed a .2 load after its about spent at 10:30...

Probably a dumb question, but why not just grind extra fine from the start?

The upper chamber can take a bit of water depending on how you fill the HT. I fill up to just above the slits and then take a quick draw. If there is water in the top chamber it will move to the bottom, raising the level ~1/4-1/2" above the slits. More water adds drag and chug, if that's your...

@vape4life - Re the ring at the ridge of the joint, how to clean that was discussed over the last few pages (Pappy's howto, etc.) Weedemon shared his routine recently and I am doing same. I'm preferring a load of .15-20 (again, varies somewhat by strain & how dry) as it seems to be the...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

@RussyRoo - thanks a lot for the explanation. It's interesting that the difference is a consequence of how your routine has been changed by the Cloud. My experience is very similar to Pappy's, i.e., not much difference in load amount but significant differences in the experience, - the overall...

RussyRoo, that's a substantial reduction. Would you please elaborate? (I'm using the same amount as I did in my EQ, but my routine is different now with the Cloud so making a quantity comparison is difficult.)

Thanks, Pappy. I used this same routine exactly last week. Nice to know - after the deed was done - that this is the "official" procedure. :) A detail I noticed was that there is more build-up under the small lip right where the joint meets the down-shaft. Took some elbow grease and extra ISO...

My view is that the Cloud is a luxury good, a very good value, and a great medical device. :)

Since it's been well over a week w/o a word but VXL has typically been very responsive, you have checked your shipment tracking to verify VXL received the HT and followed up with an email to Troi or SM?

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

While there have been reports, and discussion, about noise from the heater, I'm not sure anyone can give you a definitive answer about your particular unit. There are a number of possibilities, and a noise does not necessarily indicate a failing unit. The power brick on the other hand is more...

If it continuously clicks and "never goes green", that seems to indicate that the unit is trying but failing to reach its temperature setting. Contact VXL.

You're right. (And, yes, this was discussed earlier - in the previous thread). The Cloud achieves its efficiency through the combination of air turbulence and pressure change in the ELB. The pressure change has the same effect as higher altitude (like with baking), i.e., the boiling point is...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

@stttonedfc - I'll chime in with my quick :2c: on top of @beachbum's reply . . . If you're accustomed to combustion, then 200C for many is a good starting point. That said, if you have quality herb and/or would like to taste what you've been missing altogether with combustion and/or would...
