    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I just timed my warm-up to 12 o'clock starting in the morning at ambient 72F: 7.5 minutes. Have to say that the red-then-green glow top & bottom of the unit is very cool looking. Re the clicking: Mine is virtually imperceptible. It does continue after reaching temp. I think it may be the...

Thanks! There's a Dollar General not far. I'll check it out.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Thanks much, very helpful. I've already got the GO, thought I'd just give it a try, wasn't sure SG had quite the oomph; now I know. Main thing I wanted an alt to ISO for the glass. Makes sense though for the ELB, just like other screens.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

A wine bottle cork won't do, like in the vid? I'll be using either a universal cork which is tapered to fit the mouth of any wine bottle. Or maybe better yet a rubber wine bottle stopper, I have an extra from a cheap kit that fits perfectly.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

First, seems to me there will be very few using the Cloud set on max. I don't see where it's necessary with the Cloud, and may even be counter-productive as far as taste. But still, 3 o'clock is pretty hot. So . . . you use your fingernail. Well, I do anyway. As SM said, once it's trained it...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Quick question, FC'ers . . . I've just acquired my first bottle of Grunge-Off for cleaning my HT, having always just used iso in the past. I notice though in SM's instructional video that, while GO is used for the GT, iso is used for the ELB's. Is there a particular reason for that? So . . ...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

fwiw . . . I pulled the ELB after fully heating at 12 o'clock and then after fully heated on max. The ELB gets very hot at the former and considerably more so at the latter, probably close to the temp of the glass joint that encases it. While that is quite hot, it's not remotely close to the air...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

This was discussed a couple few times in the preceding thread. There is turbulence in the airflow through the ELB. Additionally, the air pressure in the ELB is lowered. As a result there is high vaporization efficiency, and that at comparatively lowered temperatures, with even cooking throughout...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Jeez, if this were to happen a few times, it would just add to the perception of extraordinary value in the Cloud. That would be good for VXC (more demand) and we owners (appreciation!). Maybe it's a conspiracy. Does SM have a cousin living in Torrance?

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

And you're absolutely correct. That was my point, too. There is possibly more nuance here, though. For example, ordinarily order numbers are assigned upon order receipt (in this case, that would be when pre-order is converted to real order). However, when a company builds backlog (as VXC has)...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

EDIT: Answered by IAmKrazy2. Serial numbers almost always begin with 0001; sometimes the numbering includes pre-prod, sometimes not. So indications at least suggest that there are Cloud's awaiting shipment. I'm guessing that the damaged SWG shipment set back the schedule temporarily.

Waiting for packaging and shipment . . . and, me thinks most likely, glass???

It means yours is the 260th order that's been assigned, so you'll be approximatelythe 260th owner (some order numbers inevitably get voided or cancelled). It won't be the 260th Cloud produced though, that's usually indicated by the serial number, which btw, is now >800.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Right, got it. Thx. I'm using the Headford with a Q elbow in the GonG joint attached to a short-whip into the Q. Seems to me the Headford has very little drag, but regardless, if you're using the Q's whip and elbow the path gets narrowed and extended some. I expect with my Cloud that the...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I'll definitely continue to use my Q for social sessions, both whip and bag. Call me a Scrooge or whatever dirty name but no way am I gonna be passing my Cloud/HT around thru the hands of non-vaper guests only to have someone loaded drop it, knock it over, or worse yet cough into it - we've seen...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I totally agree. I'm very much a Q fan. I'm also extra-sensitive to drag, so I've adjusted my technique in every way I know of to reduce drag. But the Cloud . . . well, this takes the experience to a whole new level. With the ELB filled 3/4 with medium-fine grind and water 1/2" above the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Welcome! You've come to the right place for vaporizing info. :) It's great that you're working your way thru the thread. While it's really long, there is a helluva lot of valuable info. I did the same after buying my Q, and it sure helped me up the learning curve a lot faster. IMO the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I'll just add an Amen to the replies you've already received. That's an interesting piece, but my, sure looks like someone need to catch up on the cleaning. :) I strongly second the suggestion to replace the whip with silicone. I use this...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

@BL4ZE, could you elaborate a bit on what you mean by "much more usable"? In what way; why? The Headford is my main water piece, so I'm quite curious esp how it compares to the HT. I currently use the Headford with my Q, so now I have the drag from the whip that I don't expect to have with the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I can't speak from personal experience, but from posts here, apparently the answer is "yes". I did half-the leg work for you: Go to Search and use "Extreme AND concentrate" as the search term. Take a look at the hits in the Extreme threads.
