    Very well said!

You are correct about the length but not about the mass; I'll not say more about that. :science: IMO what's most important, going back to the original question, is that the Cloud's whole heat delivery sub-system is just technically much more advanced. There are interesting, and I suspect...

The glass tube is the only component accessible, and at that only the joint and the air intake section at the bottom of the unit. The middle section where the heating magic happens is between the two orifices, can't (and probably shouldn't) be touched. You're already cleaning the joint, where...

My post was just an (apparently weak) attempt at humor. ;)

Well, this isn't an HT but it should definitely meet the "as little diffusion as possible" goal . . . You can control precisely how much diffusion by how many holes you poke in the downstem tubing. Even has a carb! And all this for only ~$5! :D

Sure you can. There's old, and then there's oldie.:myday: If I can come down with GAS, proves no one is immune.

Hmmm . . . all that is in that space is, um, space. Except for the screws that attach the shield to the hollow aluminum body. So unless there is some kind of agent on the Cloud's exterior, e.g. a protective coating, any odor would originate inside - I would guess the heater coil or insulator...

Yep, this has been discussed a nbr of times. Try a boolean search like "cloud AND hydratube AND tree AND circ". Short answer: Basically same weight and dimensions. While opinion varies about drag, there seems to be agreement that the difference is negligible. The most noticeable diff is proly in...

Is the tree more fragile that the circ?

I just rinse thoroughly in water and let them air dry.

Yes, both. I have enough ELB's for ~week. I strain the ISO thru a coffee filter and re-use. Every cycle I replenish the small amount of ISO that's lost. Because the filtering removes the crud, I can repeat the cycle a number of times (I haven't counted) - the ISO gets somewhat dark but still is...

After a session I give the ELB a couple short shots of air. I can then re-use the ELB for several sessions. A couple hours in the ISO beaker is enough for cleaning. To economize, I cork the beaker to prevent evaporation and I re-use the ISO.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

IME if elbow packing, ~10-20C. Just keep in mind that the display is not exact; the temp entering the cyclone is less than shown and at the elbow substantial heat has been lost.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

It's great to see so many new posters on this thread. For quite a while it was rather slow. But now a lot of new enthusiasm and even fancy mods are being revisited. I should start paying attention again! @newVaper420, btw I suspect you may be near a record for posts by a new member: 90 already...

Probably closer to .15g. Depends on grind and dryness of course, but IME that is close.

I've been trying to determine how the "leaking" HT happens, and I think I may have discovered a couple of possible reasons. Probably those who've been using the Cloud for a while now have found these too, but given all the new owners it might be good to post fwiw . . . (note that this was with...

I don't use my ABV in cooking, but I have used it for smoothies (terrific), tincture, and straight (in capsules). Mine is very dark brown because I took a suggestion here to re-grind (I just use my fingers), which gives me an additional 1 or 2 hits (not great tasting; for bedtime). Even so, as...
